Private villa with alpine view from the terrace

MarcRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is an excellent Airbnb, have confidence booking. We were warmly greeted by Villa Nagare's friendly owner and were given a detailed tour with welcome fruits and drink. We quickly felt at home in this beautifully renovated home. It is well equipped and included a high chair and children's cutlery for our child. We spent many hours relaxing on the terrace and watching the sublime alpine view. We initially booked 3 nights but extended an extra 2 because we were highly impressed with the accommodations and area! We were sad to leave but will return!!!

Cozy Kyoto Cottage

CarolineRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage. The house was very clean and spacious. For us, the best part was the location. It truly felt like we were locals living in the community where Cozy Cottage is located. All of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and the stay definitely made our time in Kyoto extra special. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a bit of a slower pace in Kyoto.

7 minutes from Meitetsu Nagoya Station

RayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Landhouse is very tidy, spacious, and fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom. But the bathroom has no heating, and it's colder in winter. The kitchen also has hot pot cooking utensils.Suitable for a family hotpot. There are two single beds downstairs. The sofa is longer and will block access and become cramped. The space on the second floor is large, with two double beds and a tatami space that can accommodate 4 people. The location of the house is more peaceful at night, there are no restaurants around, there is a Lawson about 8-10 minutes on foot! 15-20 minutes from downtown Sakae or Nagoya station mainland. Suitable for self-driving people. Tip: Hosts should add an extra power strip. The hot pot power cord is relatively short. Overall, I recommend staying.(From Hong Kong🇭🇰)

Old Japanese style/max6p/60㎡/For families, couples

JordanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Uzu is the sweetest/kindest host. She was very accommodating and helpful. I needed to check in a day later than scheduled and much later than expected and she was there as soon as we walked up to guide us in and explain everything necessary in the home from using remotes and properly using the shower since I don’t speak Japanese. She gave great recommendations also. She is awesome. Thank you so much. 😊

[Entire house] 100-year-old Japanese house "mariya"

ConorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have stayed in AirBnBs around the world and this, for my family of four, was one of the most special and memorable experiences that we have had. Fumi-san and her partner (not to mention their cats) are incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. My children love the movie My Neighbor Totoro and staying in this old Japanese house was like living in a little slice of the movie. We loved exploring the area too, with many recommendations from Fumi. We hiked up the hill to the temple behind the house one morning, set in a beautiful wooded area. We visited the shrine down the road and ate ice cream from the community center. We ate sushi at a small restaurant run by a very friendly old couple in town. We went to the local firefly festival and wached the hula dancers. Fumi even helped set up visits to local tea farmers. We visited Kurusaki-en for some excellent green tea and Uno-chaen san for oolong tea. He and his wife and their children welcomed us we enjoyed and purchased excellent tea!

Scenic Getaway/Osaka/Nagoya/6bed2futo/Gifu 98㎡ 8ppl

拓也Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. It was a great place to stay and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The parking lot is large enough for two station wagons. It's hard to find on Google Maps, but There was a guide with photos, and the host was polite in their messages, so I was able to get there without getting lost. Be careful if you are driving a large car as you will be going through some narrow roads. We used it with 6 adults, but the living room was spacious and we had a comfortable stay watching Netflix and YouTube on the projector. The kitchen is also spacious and has basic cooking utensils, so you can cook for a large number of people.(Frying pan, clay pot, rice cooker, dishes, chopsticks, cutting board, knives) There are no condiments, so you'll need to buy them at a nearby supermarket.(There is a Kakan supermarket about 5 minutes away by car) There were basic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, shaving, lotion, cleansing, and facial cleanser, so it was helpful not to have to bring them. The windows had shutters and some parts were difficult to open. It seemed like you could use the Nintendo Switch in the living room, but I couldn't find the main unit.(You may need to bring the main unit or reserve it in advance) I left something behind, but I was contacted immediately after checkout and they handled it.The polite service was very helpful. I don't get the chance to go to Gifu often, but I'd love to stay again.

I used it as a place to stay for a company off-site event.First of all, the view is great. In addition, the facilities were well equipped and cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay.We came with 16 people this time, but there was plenty of space. Not only did they handle the check-in and check-out, but they also handled the pre-arrangements smoothly. It was a great memory. I'd love to stay there again.
