Kyoran【Suigetsu Residence】 Near Kyoto St.8min

ShawnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The home was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and public transit, making it easy to explore the city. The amenities were top-notch, and everything worked exactly as described. My family and I had a fantastic time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto!
A bright living area features a mix of seating options, including a gray sofa and two armchairs in soft tones. A round coffee table stands at the center, complemented by a window that allows natural light to flow in, framing views of the surrounding greenery.

Enjoy a semi-open-air bath and hot spring BBQ in the garden with a sea view Late Check-Out up to 3 pm 1-8 people per group per day

ReishinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
One person was absent, so 7 of us friends used it! The view from the inner balcony was superb, and the sunrise was also very beautiful. The BBQ space in the outside garden is shaped like a sunken fireplace, and you can sit with your legs thrown out in the middle, and I felt that we were closer together and had a better time than a normal BBQ! It was also great that they prepared sitting cushions, charcoal, and even a grill, so we could have a BBQ with just the ingredients. There are many BBQ stoves on Airbnb, but charcoal is still good for BBQ.😊 I hope to visit again when I stop by nearby!
The living area features leather sofas arranged around a sleek coffee table on a patterned rug. A wooden staircase leads to the upper level, and large windows allow natural light to fill the space, highlighting the minimalistic decor.

The location is excellent. It is hardly a 5 minute walk to Shin osaka station. There are lots of shop and restaurants nearby the house. There was only one minor inconvenience. The floors were really squeaky, once our kid slept even tip toing didn’t help to prevent the noise from walking on floor. But as she slept like a log after tiring day it didn’t wake her up. Even the kitchen chairs etc seemed a bit outdated and were a bit loose and squeaky. There is only one bathroom and one western toilet.

1-min Station | River-View House on Nakasendo

AarniRating, 5 stars1 day ago
If you're looking to get away from basically everything, this is the place. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, next to a rushing river, it's nothing like the big cities and millions of people rushing this way and that you might associate with Japan. That said, that also means there isn't a lot to _do_ in Nagiso or Tsumago, other than hike and see some local sights, and local transit can be a little patchy. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable, literally right next to the JR station, with a full-featured kitchen (a local supermarket is right down the street), comfy beds, big projector screen for a night of chilling out (e. g. after hiking in the rain, as we did)! There's also a nice recently reopened café next door, and some restaurants (though don't expect very long opening hours) too. Small note - if you're _very_ sensitive to traffic/industrial noise, be aware there's a somewhat major highway next to the house. Traffic does die down in the night though.

Masa is the nicest host. Not only did he fetch me at the bus station, he sat with me to explain rules, show me around the house, give me local recommendations on a map of the town and he even gave me instructions for my next location and drove me to the bus location. Really enjoyed my stay in Gujo, I will definitely go back there during future trips. Such a peaceful stay, I recommend highly!

This is my second time staying at a private lodging. Six old men from Kyoto went north on the Sabae Kaido and stayed here after stopping by Obama.Arrival is at 5:30 pm.When I told them I wanted to have a barbecue, they already had a set ready. When I tried to buy it out with a Chari, he drove me to PLANT-2 by car. While six of us old men were grilling meat, he prepared grilled onigiri and the fish head that my son had procured. Breakfast was rice cooked on a hearth with fish and miso soup.It was excellent. In other words, the owner is like a bundle of hospitality. The house is kept clean because it is managed by such an owner. I'm taking my family next time.

This was a wonderful place to stay! I stayed with 3 others and it felt luxuriously spacious. I can totally see how it could host many more! We loved checking out a few of the many recommended restaurants, and frequented the bakery only a 3 min walk away! The traditional decorations were beautiful, and the space was quite accommodating with many complimentary amenities. You can tell they put lots of thought onto providing for their guests!

FukuzoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I used it for three nights for a family trip to Inuyama, Gifu, Ogaki, and Sekigahara during the Golden Week holiday.I had a very relaxing stay with 4 people.I think it can be used with ease by about 2 families if you arrange the rooms. It's been a while since it was built, but it's been renovated as much as possible, the cleaning is perfect, and there are plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, bedding, towels, etc., so I think you'll be satisfied unless you're very sensitive. It's not downtown, but there are restaurants nearby, and since it's a residential area, there are also supermarket convenience stores, so I don't think you'll have any trouble finding food.I didn't use the train this time because I used a car, but the road wasn't as difficult as I thought, and the bypass was close, so it's convenient to use this as a base for sightseeing in Gifu and Aichi. The next day it was clean and well maintained, but the bathtub was old-fashioned and narrow, so if you want to bathe leisurely, I recommend using a car to go to a super public bath (Ginan Onsen or Minori).
