Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Nagara River

Looked like the pictures. The only bad thing was that there was only one lock in the front door keeping anyone out.

Loved this place and felt right at home. A beautiful apartment, really safe and secure in a quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes walk to major train stations/bus routes. Great host, really helpful communications and checked in on us a few times via text

Stayed as a group of three on a family trip. The building, interior and garden are all lovely, and staying here provides quite a unique experience that you can't get from a regular hotel. It's a few minutes away from a Family Mart, and less than a 10-minute walk from Gojo station. The number 5 bus near the station also goes through the central shopping area, and toward many sightseeing spots. Inside there are two separate spaces/tables to spend time together as a group, and the shower and bath feel quite luxurious. The two beds are comfortable, and one person can get the full futon experience in the other room. It's a little close to a main road, but it didn't seem to affect my sleep at night.

Kosuke’s was a wonderful host! He was communicative, responsive, accommodating, and provided great instructions for locating the apartment and accessing it (which made it really easy to find on the little tucked away street). The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, and charming and felt like a very traditional Kyoto home, which we loved!! The location was absolutely ideal. It was so close to the Shijo metro stop (3 minute walk) and a very easy connection to Kyoto station and anywhere in Kyoto. In addition, many of the best sites are walking distance from the apartment: the Nishiki market is a 3 minute walk, Pontocho and Gion are less than 20 minutes, and the Yasaka shrine and Maruyama Park are only 25 minutes. And that’s only to name a few. There are also tons of great restaurants on the surrounding streets! It really could not be more ideally located. We loved our stay at Kosuke’s house and appreciated all of the thought and effort he puts into making his home welcoming!

Great house and host. Very responsive and helpful. The wifi cable wasn’t working and the host kindly left a replacement one for us. They also sent us some recommendation of restaurant near by and we were able to check in earlier than our time which was helpful.

The Homann Concept Home is beautiful! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay! From the fluffy duvet to the jacuzzi bathtub, the customized modern home was very comfortable and was a great experience. The host was responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this place to others!

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Great walkable location for us. Would 100% recommend. The host gave us lots of local recommendations and we even managed to catch a local festival because of it.

The place was great! I LOVED that every room had a bathroom and shower! That was amazing for us. The family mart was very close. I’d suggest staying on the main roads to get to the trains. The rooms were great! I do wish there were more towels. I loved that the washer had a 54min quick wash and easily able to dry clothes on the balcony. The showers always felt amazing. The check in and checkout process is super easy and simple. The one thing that surprised us was the very narrow and steep stairs to get to each floor. Otherwise, each room was very spacious! Thank you!

By Japan's standards, Kyoto House is palatial. The outdoor tub and garden are as luxe as it gets. And it's a genuine 80-year-old property to boot. We got a really great deal and even though it was still expensive, was worth every penny.

Location is a bit far from sites but good that it’s not too crowded. Lots of space and two separate shower/bath facilities and toilets is nice with a family. The place was accurately described and takeshi was a great host. He gave a lot of helpful recommendations and responded quickly to questions.

The host for this Airbnb is very responsive and helpful. She provided some snacks on table and in refrigerator, which was very helpful since we had not gone to convenient store yet. She had the unit stocked with toiletries if we had needed. The down side to the unit would be the stairs, if someone has any type of disability the stairs would be quite difficult, there are a lot and very narrow winding steep stairs . Showers are on bottom floor of the three floors. No sink on third level, only toilet. This could potentially pose a problem for someone. We made it work, but could be quite difficult for others. Please read house rules very carefully. Host was gracious enough to let us leave our luggage at front door after our check out, that really helped since check out was at 10:00am and our flight did not depart until 5:55. Kansai airport is about 45 -50 min drive from Airbnb without traffic. Train station family mart & mega Donkey Quijote were all in same corner only 5-7 min walk. :)

As Americans we were mostly here to see the Peace Park and other things associated with the WW2 atrocity. This place is perfectly situated for that, as it is directly across from the park, and a short stroll to the Dome. Highly recommended.

It was organized and tidy; with ample amenities that made our stay comfortable. We brought two cars; one parked at the house and another one was parked near the house (paid carpark). It was convenient for us since we arrived at night. The house was also located in a very cosy neighbourhood, so it was so pleasing to the eyes. A recommended stay 👍🏼

We were traveling with 2 couples and had a car. After 2 weeks of busy cities and small guesthouses, we wanted a home we could cook dinner, linger at the dinner table, sit outside and play board games. We found that surprisingly hard to find in Japan. This home was modern, comfortable and has it all to hang out as a family or small group of friends. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear it at all. But it did let us sit outside and play mellow music and enjoy the evenings. Osam is a host in an old school way, checking in regularly to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to offer assistance. The location is relatively close to Nara Park, which is worth a day. It’s a long 1 hour drive to either Kyoto or Osaka, but we spent half days at both and were grateful to go “home” to Osam’s place at the end of the day. Worth staying 3-4 nights to relax and explore this part of Japan.

会社のオフサイトMTGで使わせて頂きました。 非常にプライベートな空間で、 チーム6人で部屋の中でしっかり話し合いのMTGができ、 また外ではBBQで和気あいあいとすごす事ができました。 待ち合わせの場所まで迎えに来て頂き、 親切に宿泊施設まで先導・案内を頂き、使用の仕方を丁寧に教えて頂きました。 本当に非常によい時間を過ごせたと思います。ありがとうございました！！！

とにかく設備も揃ってるし、 全てが清潔感抜群。 プライベート空間としても塀が高いので良し。 また活用させてもらいます

仲間8人で使用させていただきましたが非常に設備も整っており 快適に過ごすことができました。 また当日の天候がすぐれずに気温が低かったですが、室内、室外の薪ストーブが新鮮で温かみがあり最高でした。 次回は暖かい時期に予約したいです。

What a lovely place to stay ! Doesn't get any better for a homestay vacation. Close to the train station and with convenient parking available. Room was charming and had all the amenities needed for our week's stay including a PSP player and screen projector. The beach was a short 5 min walk away to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Definitely would recommend if you intend to rent a car to check out Kanazawa and the surrounding areas.

3月下旬に利用させていただきました。周りはまだ雪がたくさんあり不安がありましたが、親切に案内していただき無事たどり着くことができました。部屋は恐竜がたくさんおり新鮮な気持ちになれました。雪がない時期には露天風呂やBBQも利用できるとの事だったので、また機会があれば利用したいと思います。この度はありがとうございました。
