This time, due to heavy snowfall, the train was canceled, and all of my planned transportation options were no longer available.I had to cancel, but Yuhei kept in touch with us and suggested some solutions.And in the end, he drove me to the ski resort a few kilometers away! In addition, they drove me to the supermarket, introduced my family the next day, and guided me to the hot springs the next day! On the way home, my friend and I drove us to the station, and we were able to safely go to our next destination. They were polite from the pre-exchange to the end. This time, four families, including children, used it, and everyone was very satisfied!! Above all… I was impressed that I didn't have to do a lot of laundry at the end, after an early morning departure and a body exhausted from skiing. The kids are excited about the Switch!I enjoyed it on the big screen TV. There are plenty of amenities and the towels are clean.The bathroom was also clean. I saw the reviews beforehand and heard that there were ingredients… I was surprised more than I imagined.It was a fun meal for adults and children alike. The good reviews so far are convincing. This is the inn I would like to stay at again, it is the best with no complaints.

Lovely big house with convenient location on the outskirts of Yamanochi. The amenities are top notch and it is very spacious and cozy. You have a breathtaking view of the mountain and you can reach the Shiga plateau in about 20 minutes by car and in less than 5 minutes at the parking lot to the Monkey-Onsen. The only downside is the location directly on a noisy main road. At night there is little traffic, but oropax is still recommended...

Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described, while compact is was slightly larger than I had envisaged. Definitely well located in Echoland. Desmond and his team provided complimentary transfers too and from Hakuba Station which was greatly appreciated. From my research Hannas house provide good value for money. I would recommend Hannas house with a few caveats, the stairs to the second level are very steep so maybe not great for very young children or if you are less mobile. We were lucky to have significant snow falls which meant that quite a bit of shovelling was required to keep the entry clear and the driveway accessible if you are considering hiring a car.

The space itself exudes authentic charm, blending traditional aesthetics with all the modern conveniences one could need. After long days in the snow, returning to such a warm and inviting retreat was pure joy. Cam’s attentiveness and care were truly exceptional—always available to assist, yet never intrusive, ensuring that our experience was seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for a stay that perfectly balances authenticity, and comfort, this is the place. We leave with full hearts and unforgettable memories—thank you, Cam, for making our time in Akakura so special!

The response was quick and kind. The furniture and equipment were arranged to make the architecture look beautiful. The pellet stove was quite good.

The location was close to the jR station, walk 5 minutes walk, the owner always had communication, it felt warm to enter the room, the cleanliness was high, we all felt satisfied.Like returning to Karuizawa chooses to stay again.

Easy and convenient! Great location and easy walk to the main street of Echoland. Huge corridor/hallway perfect for all of our luggage so it didn’t clutter the rooms. Comfortable beds and really good showers. Thanks for hosting us David, it was a great stay!

The host is friendly and helpful. The house is cosy, clean and well equipped. Checkin and checkout is very easy. Recommend for couple and groups 3-4 people.

The house was beautifully spacious, clean and toasty warm! Super close to the train station/ bus shuttles and supermarket. The house itself had everything you need! Pete was extremely great at communicating and helping us with the best local places to eat and organising transport. If I come back to Hakuba I’ll definitely be booking this place! 10/10

Very central location, we loved it!

The apartment was clean and functional, close to the bus stop. For our part, we walked in the neighborhood which was charming, but quieter, a little far from the center. That's what we were looking for. Glendy was very proactive and responded quickly to our questions. We were even able to meet and chat with her, which we really enjoyed. We recommend Glendy's apartment.

Exactly as the photos, a super clean and cozy place. I have rented several times around here and have never been in a property so equipped with kitchen stuff, groceries and others like here. Thanks so much for meeting us so well.

Highly recommend this place. It's a great location, lovely setting in the woods, we were there in winter and with the snow its incredibly beautiful and also walkable to the gondala or chair lift. This Airbnb is a seperate apartment attached to the Mojo lodge, so you get all that's listed, 2 bedrooms + living room/kitchen/bathroom etc etc but also in Winter season you can use the communal area of the lodge as well which is great, plus you get an excellent cooked breakfast and a morning lift to the gondala. Plus all the staff at the lodge are super friendly and very approachable for advise on the area whether that's where to eat or the best onsen or other local knowledge. We really felt welcomed and at home for the whole week we were here and we'd definitely stay again.

All the facilities were spacious and clean, so the 5 of us were able to have a satisfying night. I look forward to staying again when I visit Matsumoto again.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
