We booked for only 1 night at first, but enjoyed the place so much we had to extend for another night! The place is just like as described. Because the furniture, kitchenware and amenities are from Muji, it made everything 100 times cooler. Peaceful and beautiful nature surrounding the house. We absolutely enjoyed the campfire on the patio!

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with stunning views, condiments, and a cooker.(There is no equipment for BBQ.)

The most magical place I've ever been. The lakefront house has a spectacular view. It's beautifully decorated, and the facilities are like new. The host was very attentive to all my questions, even when there was a situation beyond his control where he tried his best to resolve it. He showed genuine interest in resolving it and making amends. It's highly recommended for long stays. Keep in mind that there's no supermarket nearby, but there is a 7/11 a five-minute walk away. A very good sauna is located 10 minutes away. I would come back a thousand times.

The hosts, Jeff and Aki, were very warm and flexible, and I had a wonderful and unforgettable stay. I have visited many inns and log houses nearby, but this is a place I highly recommend. I would love to get a glimpse of the ideal life in Nagano and move there someday!It was a place that made me feel that way. There are many parts of the facility where you can feel the attention to detail, and I liked the beautifully arranged space and the fusion of Japanese culture and sophisticated overseas design! We had a really wonderful time, and we could see the owner's personality in the details, such as the well-equipped kitchen and living room, and the attention to the dishes. I hope to come back soon to play with my friends and acquaintances! Thank you so much for your kindness.

Its an unforgettable experience! The host and his wife treated as a family even though I don't know how to speak Japanese. The food they prepared, The room, the dogs, the house, everything is wonderful and pretty like a fairytale. I didn't expect this trip to be so good as I booked at the last minute. I will visit again in future and all the best.
