Two toilets and the first floor are flat floors, so you can use them safely from children to the elderly. Kurohime Slope is 5 minutes away, and there are many slopes within a 30-minute radius, so you can enjoy a variety of terrain. There is a free fire pit available for simple BBQs. On bad weather days, you can play darts, Jenga, and ping pong indoors, or you can also enjoy the nearby hot springs and sauna. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
