California central coast 2-bedroom haven
This is such a special place. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! It’s a perfect central location - close to SLO, Paso Robles, Los Olivos, etc. We loved hearing the chickens in the morning, walking through the garden and enjoying the hot tub/pool amenities. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you!!

The Cozy Casita
Casita was described as a great event!!!!!

4.5 Acre Farmhouse in Wine Country w/Hot Tub
This was our 3rd stay in Nick and Lauren’s home in Atascadero. We love it here for all its comfort, amenities, cleanliness, privacy, and peace and quiet. If you are looking for a home away from home, you’ve found the perfect place to vacation and I highly recommend it. We are excited to return, again, in the fall. Thank you for everything and being excellent hosts.

Pelican Cove Vacation Rental at the Back Bay
Kyes place was so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. We loved getting to use the spa every evening after hiking.

The Shed
I fell in love with this place. Clean, quiet place to stay. Emphasis on quiet. The shed was compact but still felt very open. Great experience here. They supplied everything you would need for a great stay 10/10 I would live there if I could lol

Baywood Casita- kids, dogs, hot tub
We just got back from a wonderful week in beautiful Los Osos. We were in town to visit family that lives right down the street, they have a a couple dogs, that Kylee was happy to let us have visit the casita, and they loved all the room to run and play. The house is exactly as pictured, perfect for a couple, and would also work well with a couple of kiddos. We used the hot tub several nights, the sky was clear, stars out, and the weather was nice and cool for long soaks after walks through the beautiful, at the end of the block, Elfin Forest. The bed was perfect not too soft not too firm. The kitchen was stocked well, Kylee even had a basket of goodies and drinks on the counter, to welcome us, very sweet:) We come out to Los Osos sometimes twice a year, and we usually stay in Morro Bay @ the Harbor Suites, but from now on, if this home is available we will stay here every time! Thank you Kylee for sharing your little piece of paradise❤️

Cutest Cottage on the Central Coast
My friends and I stayed here for a quiet girls weekend. We loved the place! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner at home and the view was beautiful! Great place to enjoy Morro Bay.

Atascadero Guesthouse Central Coast Wine Country
Great stay. Conveniently located near downtown Atascadero but still a quiet oasis. Tons of natural light, nice mid century decor, high ceilings, very comfortable stay. Susan also provided tangerines, muffins, and bottled water, which was very nice. Great host.
Other great vacation rentals in Morro Bay

The Barn at Old Morro
We enjoyed our 40th anniversary getaway at the “Barn” at Old Morro. The place was amazing! It was clean, comfortable, and decorated with so many special touches. We loved everything about it! April was a great host with good communication. The “Barn” is by far the best Air BnB we’ve stayed in, and we’ve been to quite a few. Top notch! Highly recommend it for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The Cottage at Old Morro
The little cottage was adorable and away from traffic and noise. We were among the large tree and birds, and just so quite and peaceful. We felt like we were the only ones around. The cottage is little but so adorable. I was impressed on how clean everything was and in great condition. I would stay here again since it is close to Paso Robles. For us older ones (76 years old) you have to be careful climbing the stairs to the loft. We had a couple of good laughs with our clumsiness of trying to be careful, but all was good. We slept very well in the comfortable bed in the loft. Thank you so much April for reminders and instructions, it was all very helpful.

Cozy Beach Bungalow in Cayucos!
This place was in a great location in the middle of everything. It has a great view of the beach from the street. They also gave us snack snacks and treats. That was very kind. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Ocean View
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful Airbnb by the beach, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location was absolutely perfect, just steps away from the sandy shores and stunning ocean views. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and the sight of the sunrise over the water was pure bliss. The Airbnb itself was beautifully decorated, with a cozy yet modern vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The living space was spacious and inviting, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the view. The outdoor patio was a highlight, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided us with great local tips, from nearby restaurants to hidden beach spots. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. It truly felt like a slice of paradise!

Sea to See, Morro Bay
Great views of the bay, and close to town with great shops and restaurants. The place worked out well with our 2 little dogs- we appreciated the fenced-in back yard. There’s a nice little park to walk them to down the street with beautiful views of the sunset. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I was impressed with how well stocked the unit was. Extra towels, blankets, lots of kitchen supplies. I could tell that a lot of thought went into making the unit comfortable for guests. I would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to the area.

Ocean's Calling Cottage Sleeps five. 2 bed/2bath
We really enjoyed our stay at Morro Bay. Catherine was a great host, from our booking until our stay ended. The house was ideal, everything was there for us and it’s a great location.

1925 Craftsman Beach Bungalow
Larry's place was great! It was in a great location and walkable to both downtown and the waterfront. The bungalow was very clean and felt like "home", like I was staying at my family home. The neighborhood was super quiet and safe. While there were only two of us, it's the perfect size for a family of 4 or two couples. There were plenty of linens and kitchen essentials. I would highly recommend Larry's place!

1929 Spanish colonial home walkable to everywhere!
The hose was so cute and very clean. The supplied everything you would need to stay. We loved the area so close to shops and food. Super quite. It had a big back yard. Sean was very helpful with anything we needed. For small groups this is the place to stay.

Your guide to Morro Bay
All About Morro Bay
Centrally located between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Morro Bay is a small coastal city in California known for its unique natural beauty. The eucalyptus trees, volcanic mounds, and Morro Bay Harbor are home to an assortment of marine wildlife — sea otters, dolphins, and peregrine falcons are just a few of the animals commonly seen in Morro Bay. With year-round surfing, kayaking, boating, and biking opportunities available, there is always something to do here.
In addition to the magnificent views and year-round activities, the local dining options give visitors yet another reason to experience the city of Morro Bay. The freshly caught seafood and made-from-scratch plates will leave your mouth watering, while the local ice cream and candy shops provide visitors with something sweet to finish off their meal.

While the temperature is slightly cooler in April, it’s a great time to see the area’s rolling hills, which are normally golden brown, turn green.
Top things to do in Morro Bay
Morro Rock
The Morro Rock, a 576-foot tall volcanic plug at the entrance of the Morro Bay Harbor, is the city’s most famous landmark. While the rock can be seen from anywhere in Morro Bay, getting up close provides an entirely different view of the jagged volcanic surfaces and the fine sand at the base. Falcons are commonly seen up above, while otters can be seen in the water surrounding the rock.
The Embarcadero
The Morro Bay Embarcadero is a waterfront strip lined with shops and restaurants. The strip features numerous clothing boutiques, art galleries, surf shops, souvenir shops, and candy stores. Many of the restaurants have outdoor patio seating, allowing customers to enjoy the salty air and the sound of the water below while dining on the wide variety of fresh seafood. In addition to the shopping and dining, there are kayak, boating, and scuba diving experiences at the Embarcadero.
Morro Bay State Park
The Morro Bay State Park provides opportunities to boat, canoe, hike, and even golf. Numerous picnic tables are located throughout the park, giving visitors a place to sit and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
