Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Montjuïc

Akira Flats at Carrer de Josep 21 was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious enough for all 8 of us, with great amenities, such as the pool, paddle board courts and a gym. The apartment itself has everything you could need, two bathrooms (one was an ensuite) washer/dryer, dish washer and a lovely balcony. Our host Rebeca was extremely helpful and allowed us to check in early with our baggage so that we could make an earlier start to our holiday. The location is great, with easy links to the Metro, Tram and Rail. There is a cycle lane directly outside, and the seafront and beach are a 10 min walk away. The apartment is located directly across from Diagonal Mar shopping mall and there is also a Pharmacy and coffee shop on the ground floor of the apartment building. We would highly recommend booking this apartment if you are looking for a great location, with plenty of space.

Wonderful location to explore Barcelona - we loved staying here!

We had a great stay! The host was incredibly helpful from the start—always quick to respond and full of great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the city. They even let us leave our bags at the apartment before our flight, which made our last day so much easier. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. While it’s a bit outside the city center, it’s really easy to reach by public transport, so it wasn’t an issue at all. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Apartment impeccable, spacious and with all the amenities, in addition to details that make a short stay very pleasant: coffee capsules, water, oil, jams and toast for breakfast,etc. Very well located, 10 min walk from Renfe-Sants station. The host, very friendly and always available. For a reasonable price, we were able to drop off our suitcases until our afternoon train. In short, 100% recommended

Apartment as described. Very clean! Location close to buses allowing easy access to the center of Barcelona or the beach. Jessica is very responsive and provides clear information. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at Susan’s clifftop Airbnb. The space was sunny, bright, and warm – really welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The location is hard to beat – peaceful, with amazing views, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Lorena and Pedro were very friendly and communicated well with us. The apartment was in a great location and was fairly spacious for all 5 guests. We were all very happy with our stay overall, however we were a bit disappointed that there only seemed to ever be enough hot water for one hot shower in the morning, the iron didn’t work properly and the beds weren’t very comfortable.

Great apartment to have for a few days. Clean apartment with good facilities and nice to have a pool to relax by. Close connection to local public transport. Easy to visit other towns and get into the centre of Barcelona. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly!

Very well arranged accommodation with all comforts, Ideally located. The nearby park is ideal for a stay with child and dog. Finally, Sylvia is very helpful and has good advice. We will return if we return to Barcelona.

There is a train passing close by but we didnt hear it that loud. Good olace for kids as there a big space dowstairs and very close to the beach. Thanks

The house is perfect: very well located, very good roads, close to Barcelona, supermarkets and very nice cities. We enjoyed both my family (with teenage children) and I, an unbeatable week. The house is spacious, clean and with an excellent air conditioning system, which is appreciated in the summer. Although the listing did not correspond to the rental, the house was even better than expected. Thank you very much Desire.

A perfect experience, fully recommended! We spent a few wonderful days in this house and we couldn't be more satisfied. From the first moment, communication with the host was great: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with what we needed. The house is just as you can see in the photos (or even better!). Clean, cozy, well equipped and with all the details designed to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. We felt right at home from day one. The location is also ideal: quiet but well connected, perfect for relaxing and exploring the surrounding area. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable. Julie and Johnny literally couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming! Met us at the house and hosted a full tour to ensure we were fully comfortable with everything before they left us too it. House was spotlessly clean and perfectly set up for all our needs. Great location with the main town easily walkable in 10mins and has everything and more you could need. Carrefour Supermarket a 2min walk away and has everything and more you’d need! Train line is very close and my 5yr old adored watching the trains daily, noise from the line starts around 5am and although the noise didn’t affect us, it may do for anyone sensitive to noise. Pool was great and never overly busy, it’s a credit to the hosts that chairs and towels are all provided as there’s no such provisions at the pool itself. Overall a perfect stay and being so close to the airport is a real bonus, especially when traveling with kids. Thankyou Julie for a very easy, very supportive stay and your help with booking taxis 😍

Quiet neighbourhood, easy to find and good communications from the host

We had a great time at Trude and Miguel's. They are very welcoming, considerate, available and have great tips. The accommodation is very well equipped, quiet. We were able to taste the wood-fired paella and some of Miguel's tapas on the last night... a wonderful memory for our taste buds. If we return to Barcelona it is certain that we will book this gem away from the crowd.

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of places round the world. But Xavier’s place is definitely one of the best I and my family stayed at. The photos are brilliant, but the actual home is A+ and every time I’m in Barcelona, I will definitely go back there. For families, it’s just amazing! It’s hard to write a review for what the experience actually is…….just go see for yourself. ❤️

Beautiful place and well layed out. Close to beach and resturants and we got a list of local places to eat in a welcome print out which was great.
