The cabin was charming and the location was perfect, as we were tucked away in the forest, yet minutes away from Carmel and all that Big Sur has to offer. We went on walks around the area to explore, met friendly neighbors along the way, ate at local restaurants, and cooked when we decided to stay in for breakfast or for the night at the cabin. It was the perfect stay with our son and dog. The cabin was cozy and provided everything that we needed to make for a memorable experience. Thank you so much!

Great central location for access to Monterey Bay, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and more! The house was VERY clean, had a coastal minimalist vibe, and was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of adventuring. Wifi worked like a breeze, the neighborhood is quiet and quaint. This home is great for a large family with kids (I had 3), putting green was a hit, and is stocked with everyday essentials like shampoo, body wash, lots of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc. One thing to note - most of the household cleaners and brooms are in the garage! Realized that on the last day, ha. Note that this property has no plastic cups or plates if you have little ones. All items are glass. We were hoping to cook more meals here (Safeway is around the corner), because of the nice cookware, but were limited by the variety of spices and cooking oils available, and there were no DISHTOWELS (might want to add these to the kitchen in the future ;) )

Colette and the place or incredible. The amenities were the best ever seen from any previous Airbnb that I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was high-quality and pristine. The surroundings or magnificent and beautiful. Colette was extremely helpful and proactive and gave very detailed instructions that were easy to follow and she was helpful and pleasant to talk to. Would highly recommend staying there and would stay there again.

Lovely stay. Friendly, proactive host. Great kitchen for cooking that has not only pots and pans, but oils and spices. The bedding was cozy and kept us warm during cold winter nights. Gorgeous views and a hiking loop that starts from the home. Bring ear plugs: We had a wood pecker pecking on the house under our bedroom each morning. Other than the wood pecker, it was very quiet!

Highly recommend! The house was truly cozy and we felt right at home. We had fun with the game room with pool table, ping pong, and pacman. We had two dogs that really enjoyed the backyard too. The hosts provided clear instructions and were very responsive. Very happy with this stay!

Mina was very proactive and responsive with communication. When we needed extra linens in the kitchen he promptly brought them over. His place is clean and well stocked with cooking and dining utensils for us to make quick breakfast or heat up leftovers. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We didn’t explore Marina much but It’s an easy drive into Monterey which was where we were headed for the day.

This is a beautiful, large house. The primary suite is on one side of the house, another primary on the other side with the other 2 bedrooms and the 3rd bath. Large living room, large dining, kitchen and a very large playroom/rec room/ hangout space, for billiards and games, that can be closed off to the rest the house so you can have different things going on in various large shared spaces. This house had a master suite on one side of the house, another and the other 2 bedrooms on the other side. A large living room, extra large kitchen, dining and family room. And a huge rec room with couches and a billiard table and space for games and fun. We were 4 sets of adults and it worked perfectly. It was walking distance to most everything. Plenty of space and privacy, quiet and very accommodating. I cannot say enough positive things about this beautiful house. Enjoy!

The estate was very private and peaceful. The house itself is stunning, has beautiful views, and great amenities. We especially loved the hot tub. The ping-pong/pool table was a blast, and we even ended up playing some card games. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could need for cooking. We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.
