Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Monterey County

The estate was very private and peaceful. The house itself is stunning, has beautiful views, and great amenities. We especially loved the hot tub. The ping-pong/pool table was a blast, and we even ended up playing some card games. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could need for cooking. Kimberly was very welcoming and responsive the entire stay. Overall great trip. Thank you, Kimberly!

This place was a great option for a family of 6 wanting to stay close to Carmel by the Sea. We have 3 small kids (under the age of 5) and it was a perfect neighborhood for our situation. Quiet safe cul de sacs throughout the neighborhood for the kids to walk/ride scooters whenever we weren't out and about. The fenced in yard and patio with hot tub was amazing. The room set ups and space were perfect. The 5 minute drive to the village of Carmel and beaches was great. Also a nice 30 min walk if you wanted to. 3 min drive to Safeway for groceries. Overall a perfect stay! To note: this listing is not categorized as "kid friendly" so I don't count the following things as a negative review, but more to share with other families with small kids- the house does not have a pack n play or any other baby items, and it is not kid proofed in any way ie no outlet covers, cleaning supplies kept under the kitchen sink, no baby gates, etc. But easy fixes arrival and a great home!

My stay at Aubrey’s mountain retreat was nothing short of incredible! Nestled in a breathtaking remote location, this getaway was the perfect escape from the busy city life. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and designed for maximum comfort while still allowing me to connect with nature. Aubrey was a fantastic host—attentive, responsive, and full of great recommendations. If you're looking for a secluded mountain escape, this is the perfect spot. I can't wait to return!

We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.

this place was amazing very relaxing quiet and beautiful exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Sapphire was an amazing host as well answered any question we had would definitely come back to this place

things were generally very good. but some of the areas weren't the cleanest. additionally some things weren't ready for our arrival. for example the gas for the patio fireplace and bbq were essentially empty. I had to buy propane for the bbq which cost me approximately $35 and the time to do it as we discovered it when we went to use the grill. Lastly, a couple house rules are a bit too restrictive. There's a rule that the hot tub, which is very small and only fits 2 adults if you're lucky, can only be set to 102 degrees. The issues is at that temperature it drops to a tepid tub very quickly because it so small. 104 degrees would be nice. The second rule is no smoking with 25ft of the house. given the smaller yards, (front and back), you basically have to stand out on the sidewalk or street. It would be more equitable if there was a designated space in the backyard that could accommodate such an activity given the cost oer night. Otherwise things went well. thanks rob

We LOVED our stay! This home was such a great find. It’s beautiful, unique, and scenic. The property offered a lot that it’d be a tragedy not to spend most if not all of your time there. We enjoyed it so much we canceled outings. We had with us four teenagers and a pre school age little one. They loved venturing out, enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool time, and s’more making at the fire pit. We wished we had more time to BBQ and enjoy the gorgeous views of the valley. The separate unit above the garage with two bedrooms was perfect for the girls to enjoy their privacy. All of the beds were comfortable, & it had plenty of bathroom & pool towels. Everything was decorated beautifully & was well stocked. The living room had a comfy couch & the kitchen, although on the small side, was perfect for quick home cooked meals. This was a beautiful property, easy to disconnect from reality & a comfy home! It’s worth the drive up/down the windy road, so if you get car sick, just come prepared!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! The home is packed with thoughtful amenities—TVs in every room, a relaxing jacuzzi, a spacious and walkable yard for our dog, and well-designed shades that provide both privacy and natural light. The decor is tasteful, and the bathrooms are incredibly comfortable and roomy. One of the standout features was the fully stocked fridge—the host went above and beyond by asking for our preferences in advance. There were also plenty of extra towels and blankets, adding to the overall comfort. Communication with the host was seamless, and the location was fantastic—just 15 minutes from downtown Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer and are already looking forward to our next getaway here. Highly recommend!
