Guesthouse vacation rentals in Monterey County

We enjoyed our stay in Pebble Beach! The guesthouse was the perfect size for two and it was wonderful to be able to access the 17 Mile Drive too

This was the most beautiful space on an incredible regenerative working ranch. The staff was so nice and gave us a real sense of the full operation. The historic cottages were beautiful. We loved the colors in the Cheese House. The view from our porch was amazing and it felt so private - a real get away from the cities we visited on vacation. We also loved that hikes were possible right outside your door. And we saw a condor!!!! Although star gazing was the only night entertainment needed, we had a delicious dinner at the Inn down the road. We loved the wine tasting nearby. And we spent a day in Monterey. I’d come back over and over.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The check in and out was smooth and she was very quick to respond to us! The garden and room were super cute and well decorated. It was super cozy! It was my first time booking through Airbnb and I would definitely stay again! Thank you again for letting us stay!

Paicines Ranch was great! We only stayed a night, but will likely go back since it was very nice, comfortable, peaceful, and in a good location. Really appreciate the clear instructions and they had everything we need to rest well. Definitely recommend it!

Paicines Ranch was the perfect location for our trip to Pinnacles National Park. If you love farm animals, this is the stay for you! I loved waking up to the horses outside the window and the sheep a short walk away. If you are arriving at night, finding the cottage can be tricky, so I’d recommend getting there in the daylight if possible! The stay was just what we needed and I would love to come back and further explore the property!

Robbie was a great host. If you have any questions or problems, he was always helpful. The RV is spacious and has everything you need. The new mattress is super comfy. Robbie showed us the animals (goats, alpacas, horse) of his ranch and we were even allowed to feed and pet them.

A wonderful little cottage, tucked away next to Carmel River. Super quiet. Quiet street. Carmel Valley at its best.

Wish and make it so- a quiet, modern nature filled experience. By far the best airbnb to date. Jorie and Frank thought of everything a welcome bottle of wine and treats; JoJo’s caramels lavender room spray two amazing outdoor spaces … we had a great time exploring Carmel Valley. Jorie had a book with ideas as well. It was simply magical.

This place was so cute and perfect for our stay. It was clean and looked new and well maintained. Martha was accommodating to our needs and very responsive. We felt really at home and enjoyed our stay there. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! I booked a last minute trip to visit my friend in Hollister, and the host approved within hours. Irene was quick to respond and made sure everything was ready when I arrived. The home was beautiful, modern, and I could tell it was freshly remodeled. It was spotless, well-decorated, and even had parking right in front, which made unloading easy. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and brand-new appliances. The living area was spacious with games and a smart TV. My friend stayed the night, and the pull-out couch was super convenient and comfy! I loved the peaceful, country vibe, but it was just a 2-minute drive to the freeway and close to a shopping center where I grabbed gas and food. I didn’t meet the host in person, but the place felt private and relaxing. Honestly I thought it was even better in person. I’ll definitely stay here when I travel up North again. Thanks for being an amazing host, Irene!

We had a great stay at Matt’s. It was comfortable and just what we needed. Matt was a great host - very responsive and helpful.

This place was so beautiful! I only have great things to say. She was super helpful with giving directions to get to her place. Everything was super clean and had every thing you would need to stay a few nights. Soaps, pots, pans, extra towels, extra blankets, and extra pillows!! I didn’t expect that much amenities! When we checked in and out there was no communication needed you just show up then leave. Also the heated floor was amazing! I would 100% stay again. We actually left some clothes behind and she told me about it right away! I 110% recommend staying here! So worth it!

Stayed here for a few days and it was beautiful. It felt secluded and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the deck outside and just taking in the views. Host was friendly and provided useful instructions. I would recommend screenshotting the directions and check in instructions prior to arriving since you will lose service and this will make your experience arriving easier. Overall a wonderful place to go to relax and enjoy the beauty of Carmel.

As someone who’s lived in the Valley all their life, Carmel Highlands was a literal breath of fresh air. April’s Love Shack was a memorable anniversary for my partner and I! We’d gladly visit again, as it sits perfectly by Point Lobos and Downtown Carmel.

The house is very cosy, welcoming, and clean. The host is very kind, and responsive. She responds to messages within minutes and is very flexible. We felt welcomed and supported. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. I highly recommend this place for itself, and for the quality of communication with the host.

Josephine’s place was perfect for my stay! The place had everything I needed, from essentials to thoughtful extras that made my visit even more comfortable. It was spotless, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze, and the clear instructions made everything super easy. This guest house was absolutely incredible. The location cannot be beat. The amenities were awesome. The house was well stocked, we did not need anything. Our host was amazing, so kind, so responsive and very nice. We plan to come back next year for the Sea Otter Classic race and this will be the place we stay. We absolutely loved this place. It is located in the stunning Carmel Valley in a quiet neighborhood, and is a beautiful guest house. It is a close drive to everywhere we wanted to visit: Carmel by the Sea, Monterey, and Point Lobos. The guest house was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was big and comfortable. It was super cozy and has access to outdoor seating. The shower was very nice and big. The hosts were kind, flexible, and responsive. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Monterey or Carmel!
