Vacation rentals with beach access in Monterey County

Great stay. The space was larger and nicer than expected. Very good location with proximity to beach and restaurants. Would stay here again.

We had a delightful stay. The photos and description of the apartment are very accurate. Everything we needed for cooking was available in the kitchen. Fidel's place is in a great location: close to everything we wanted to do. The people in the neighborhood were super friendly. We loved that there were dishes set up for our dog!

What a cute homey space! It really did feel clean, and I think part of it is because shoes are not to be worn indoors. I really appreciated this. The size was perfect for just myself. The space was laid out to maximize its function and use, and I appreciated all the windows that could be opened for fresh air. Everything was very organized. Nikki was quick about answering my questions about the wifi (very fast!) and other amenities. I did not walk to the shops, as it seemed it would take too long to walk there with the limited window of time I had to do so. But driving there only took a few minutes. A lovely stay!

Great place. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take a family vacation to America's best little small town, Pacific Grove. Would absolutely stay there again.

The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to everything in Carmel, restaurants, shopping and the beach. The apartment was very clean, almost new! We like to cook and it was easy to do in the well equipped kitchen. The bedroom is big with a nice sitting area a good place to sit and watch the people walk around Carmel. Communication with Steve were quick and helpful. Looking forward to staying here in the future.

Susanne’s place was beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. She was also very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! We would definitely stay again!

The best place we have ever stayed. Pristine and welcoming. Fresh flowers and a welcome basket. Everything we could have possibly needed. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. The gardens are exquisite. The patio is delightful. The cottage is a 2 minute walk from the ocean and 2 minutes the other way to downtown Pacific Grove. Simply perfect!

Great central location for access to Monterey Bay, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and more! The house was VERY clean, had a coastal minimalist vibe, and was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of adventuring. Wifi worked like a breeze, the neighborhood is quiet and quaint. This home is great for a large family with kids (I had 3), putting green was a hit, and is stocked with everyday essentials like shampoo, body wash, lots of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc. One thing to note - most of the household cleaners and brooms are in the garage! Realized that on the last day, ha. Note that this property has no plastic cups or plates if you have little ones. All items are glass. We were hoping to cook more meals here (Safeway is around the corner), because of the nice cookware, but were limited by the variety of spices and cooking oils available, and there were no DISHTOWELS (might want to add these to the kitchen in the future ;) )

House is in a great location in Seaside - close to restaurants and Monterey and Laguna Seca for the Sea Otter Classic bike expo. It was exactly what we wanted for our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Ellen’s place was amazing. Perfectly situated near amazing restaurants, steps from the beach, about a mile from the aquarium, next door to a library and museum, this was the perfect spring break for my family. Ellen was also super thoughtful in all her recommendations and even left out some coloring books for my six year old. I would stay here again when coming to Monterey.

My family had a wonderful time!! Such a beautiful home and we were all comfortable. There was so many places around with easy access or short drives. Also on a sidenote the toilet was life changing 😊

This was our third year using Donna’s home for our week-long annual trip to the Monterey peninsula. We have always been pleased with our stay, and this year was no different. Donna’s home has everything a family or group could need. The home has always been clean and tidy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to most of the points of interest in this area including golf courses, the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium/Fisherman’s Wharf, and Laguna Seca Raceway. Her communication has been friendly and clear - no troubles to speak of. If you are considering a stay in this area, either short or longer term, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

This was a nice house, with three comfortable bedrooms and an updated bathroom. There’s not much in the neighborhood to walk to, but the house is an easy drive to the beach, restaurants, and Monterey. The back yard is great if you have a dog, and even the front area is secured with a fence. Check-in and out were efficient and the hosts are communicative. Overall, an nice, spacious and affordable place to stay near Monterey.

This place was amazing! Check-in was easy and absolutely everything was exactly as described. I highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back!

The condo unit is located in a peaceful quiet setting with access to the beach that is very secluded. The community has a nice walking path. Parking is easy. The Unit is as described with clean towels, bedding and lots of cutlery in the kitchen. We liked the place.

The location of the apartment is awesome. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and excellent view of the beach and ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was such a gift. Patti is lovely and kind with her communications. We did have some issues with the shower and bath sink in one of the bathrooms. We also wished we had paid attention to what was not listed in terms of provisions. For example, you’d have to bring your own coffee, teas, paper towels, and bathroom hand soaps (although napkins and bath soap bars were provided). Overall, a beautiful home at a great location with potentials for some minor improvements which I understand Patti will address in good spirit.

If you are looking for a place to rest, relax and reset your mind this is the place for you. Pajaro Dunes is a wonderful location to walk along the beach just steps away from the condo. It’s very peaceful and the resort grounds are clean. Soojin is a wonderful host and her condo was more than we could have asked for. Very clean, modern decor and the amenities provided were very well thought of especially in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. Beach amenities were provided as well. We hope to return and bring our family and friends to join us next time around.

We spent a long week At The Dunes. We come back to Pajaro Dune at all opportunities we have to recharge in this wonderful wild and inspiring place. The apartment was everything we needed for 2 people. I loved the coffee beans and grinder, I used it every morning. The place has a balcony and windows right over the ocean view. The only change I would recommend is a better and bigger bed.

Thank you Kelly for the hospitality. The location was perfect, right off the freeway, tons of fast food/convenience stores nearby. Perfect distant from Monterey and Carmel activities. Rideshares fares were fairly priced from the residence. Residence was clean and fully stocked with toiletries.

Amazing place with picturesque views! highly recommend!

We love staying in this place…it’s our second time. It’s a short walk down to the beach, you can hear the gulls during the day and the sea lions at night. It’s a nice neighborhood to walk around with a lot of original homes that look Victorian to me. There’s a very good Mexican restaurant right below and a cute artisans’ collective across the street. You can walk to many good restaurants for any meal. Quiet at night. I like the little reading book next to the dining room area. Perfect for us.
