Apartment vacation rentals in Monterey County

Our family loved our stay! Everything was pristine, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need (including spices!), there are beach towels available (huge space saver in our suitcases), the beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of large, fluffy towels for use in the bathrooms. It was a perfect location and easy walking to so many shops, restaurants, and the beach! The only thing this place is missing is a place to rinse your feet off when you inevitably come back covered in sand after a day at the beach. We found a hose but no place to connect it. Maybe we were missing something. All and all AMAZING place. Carmel is expensive, and this place is the going market rate, but it’s the perfect location and a lovely little apartment. We even extended our stay an extra night!

My sisters and I had a great time staying in this Airbnb! It was incredibly spacious for our group of five. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the projector set up in the living room! There were many great local restaurants nearby and a quick drive from Monterey where we spent most of our day. I would love to stay here again the next time we’re in town.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The location is perfect - right in the heart of Carmel. The apartment is beautiful, safe, and well maintained. Steve and Debbie are responsive, kind, and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic apartment. It is roomy and airy. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our host thoughtfully provided coffee, creamer and water so we didn’t have to worry about our first morning. Location is at the center of Carmel. We parked our car and didn’t get in it for three days. There is a great bakery and also a market a block or two away. Our host was responsive to questions. We plan to stay again next time we visit this magical town.

LOVE Pajaro dunes ! Everything was exactly as described ! The only thing is that the description mentioned no essentials, which we ended up bringing our own. Once arrival we discovered that they had everything that you needed ! Now I know for next time not to carry everything from my kitchen. This place was everything we needed and more. Felt right at home. The one thing is that the bed was uncomfortable but other then that the view was beautiful and my family and I would definitely come again !

This was an amazing stay in seaside. The apartment was clean and full of character. It was very welcoming, had a very at home feeling, and to make it even better it was 420 friendly. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you to our host for the hospitality, quick replies, and the pleasure of renting the apartment for the weekend!

This apartment was exactly as listed! Beautiful view with small porch that had a small table perfect for a romantic dinner. Surrounding area has a lot of food options and a local saloon downstairs. Walking distance to the mission. Cara was very responsive when it came to asking any questions. I would definitely recommend this location. 10/10 stay!

I had a great stay third stay here! The beds are very comfortable, and the sheets were super clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, pans, pots, utensils, plus coffee, decaf, sugar, and creamer. The bathroom had plenty of clean towels, and it was really convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit. There’s even an iron and ironing board in the bedroom. Everything was clean and well-kept, highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here. We had some trouble getting in the gate because even though Maria messaged me what the gate code was I kept thinking and looking back at their old gate code in the listing. Luckily we got it sorted out but it was a lil confusing at first. We also weren’t quite sure which way was ok to drive to the place. Like drive behind their house or cut right in front of their house to get to the place, there weren’t any instructions so we did both lol. We were also a lil bummed that there was no outside seating like shown in the pictures. We drove around their house a couple times trynna make sure we were at the right building because we were looking for the outside furniture for us to know we were at the right place. Once again we figured it out. It was overall a beautiful surrounding at the house and so many flowers. We had a great time and would stay again. I would recommend Maria’s place for sure so peaceful and quiet it was very very nice. Thank you Maria

The home was clean and quite cute. It was accessible and very easy to travel into Marina and Monterey.

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Howard!

We had a great stay. The place was clean, plenty of towels, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location can’t be beat—we barely used the car, as there were great restaurants, grocery store, shops, and wonderful walking paths all within walking distance. As former residents of the area, we felt like we were back home again. It was a great trip down memory lane.

We have stayed at many beach hotels and apartments and this may have been the best. Beautiful view of the beach, which is pretty quiet. And you can walk on the beach for a couple of hours in either direction. Also really enjoyed the location in Watsonville, which is the strawberry capital of the US. And nice to have Monterey and Santa Cruz nearby. Communicaiton with Pajaro Dunes was very good and helpful. Look forward to coming back.

Great location - the unit is a timeshare in a nice resort near the beach. Very tidy, uncluttered and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this location. Quiet and peaceful, with the most amazing view. The bathroom is huge with an amazing whirlpool tub. It was extremely clean and felt so private. Fantastic place to spend a romantic weekend. We were not asked to do any cleaning, and checkout was extremely fast and simple. I would love to come again, and would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely loved Michele’s beautiful two-bedroom apartment, it was truly a perfect spot. The interior was beautifully decorated and everything was labeled making it simple to find what you are looking for. The exterior was exquisite, with multiple seating areas, a hot tub and flowers and plant life everywhere you look, such a tranquil setting. We highly recommend this spot. Thanks Michele for being such a great host.
