Apartment vacation rentals in Monterey Bay

Loved our stay at this little apartment near the sea! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with towels, linens, and other amenities in case we forgot something. The washer and dryer were helpful after a long day at Refuge in Carmel (we took a dip in all the thermal pools). Kevin was so lovely and checked in on us and offered great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place right on the beach. Fully remodeled unit and very clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Our family had a great time staying at this unit. Already planning to come back in couple of months.

The top 3 things that really stood out was feeling, smelling and hearing the ocean and the air was right at the front door. Park your car and forget about it—- it’s a walk to anywhere you need location. The amount of food, play and bevy choices within a few blocks was 100% stellar. It’s an unplug and enjoy the slow beach place sanctuary. There’s no tv or high maintenance appliances to worry about. It’s peaceful, simple and refreshing.

We loved our weekend at Jamie's amazing apartment in Capitola! It was so easy to walk to the beach and we loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard with our little one. Perfect spot for our little family's getaway to the beach!

Kimber was a very friendly host and helped out when needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as it was the perfect, most comfortable place to come back to after a long day out.

We had a great time staying here. We had some trouble getting in the gate because even though Maria messaged me what the gate code was I kept thinking and looking back at their old gate code in the listing. Luckily we got it sorted out but it was a lil confusing at first. We also weren’t quite sure which way was ok to drive to the place. Like drive behind their house or cut right in front of their house to get to the place, there weren’t any instructions so we did both lol. We were also a lil bummed that there was no outside seating like shown in the pictures. We drove around their house a couple times trynna make sure we were at the right building because we were looking for the outside furniture for us to know we were at the right place. Once again we figured it out. It was overall a beautiful surrounding at the house and so many flowers. We had a great time and would stay again. I would recommend Maria’s place for sure so peaceful and quiet it was very very nice. Thank you Maria

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! We had an amazing stay at Mary’s Airbnb! From the start, her communication was outstanding—fast, clear, and always helpful. She provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and stress-free. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and just as described. All of Mary’s instructions were clear and easy to follow, making check-in and check-out a breeze. You can tell she truly cares about her guests’ experience. One of the biggest highlights was how she helped us recover an expensive item we accidentally left behind. Mary made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. Her quick response and willingness to help ensured we didn’t have to worry, and we’re so grateful for her kindness and professionalism. This was a very nice apartment in a quiet, well-maintained complex. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the basics we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Christine’s place is located in a quiet neighborhood but walkable to grocery stores, coffee shop and some restaurants. Christine’s place is very cozy , beds are very comfortable , and kitchen is well equipped , would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here. You can’t beat this location right on Santana Row and across the street from the mall- tons of nice shops and good places to eat. In addition, everything was so clean and beautifully decorated. The appliances and furniture seem new. The unit is very quiet and it has a very peaceful feeling. The parking is good and it is easy to get in and out of the building. The host is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Only thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin, but that’s not the host’s fault—just something to keep in mind. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved this location. Quiet and peaceful, with the most amazing view. The bathroom is huge with an amazing whirlpool tub. It was extremely clean and felt so private. Fantastic place to spend a romantic weekend. We were not asked to do any cleaning, and checkout was extremely fast and simple. I would love to come again, and would recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the apartment was large and lovely with hardwood floors and thoughtful decor. It was nice to have a covered parking spot so close to the apartment, and I loved the little lounge seat in the bedroom. The closets were very roomy with big mirrors and there were lots of comfy blankets and towels and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for guests. The bathroom had two sinks and lots of drawers and cabinets. The area was quiet and safe and the neighbors were friendly. I especially loved the water features on the grounds, and the patio had a perfect view of the fountains and beautiful redwood trees. The hosts were great and answered the few questions I had. It was very peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in in terms of being a clean, well stocked place. So many little details done right. Charging docks on all the night stands. A “did you forget anything” toiletry basket in the restroom. The well equipped kitchen and selection of coffee from Keurig to Nespresso. A lot of care was put into this home and it’s well worth the asking price. As far as location, proximity to the beach, and views - that is all self explanatory. I had an amazing time, and will certainly book again.

Lawrence was an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly and made sure to check on us via messaging during our stay. The property is comfortable and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. And also has many nice places nearby within walking distance! Would definitely stay at again!
