Guesthouse vacation rentals in Monterey Bay

Sarah's place was great, and we truly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and cozy, making it a very comfortable base for our trip. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks in the kitchen – it was a lovely welcome! Parking was a breeze; we found easy street parking, and Sarah even provided a parking pass, which was essential for summer street parking. The location was perfect for us as we were able to walk to the beach, various restaurants, and downtown. We highly recommend Sarah's place and would definitely love to come back on our next visit!

Great little place which was pristine on arrival. Philip was very responsive both before and during the stay. The lodge was very private and great on site parking. Lovely little garden area which was totally private. Slight distance from Main Street in Carmel but once we worked it out was a 20-25 walk downhill. We did get an über back when it was dark but could have walked it up the hill. A great place to stay and was cheaper than Carmel hotels x

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a lovely visit in Santa Cruz. We were in town for an event at UCSC and this place worked great for our needs. Erin was lovely and the Airbnb was cute and as described.

Was a great option for close proximity to the Google campus which is where we needed to be. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and walkable. It’s evident they are very involved with the beautiful landscaping and gardening on/around the property therefore notable tree pollen/allergens during the spring time. Overall a cute, cozy, and darling stay!

Beautiful spot tucked away in the trees, but so close to everything the area has to offer. We were only here for a brief one night stay, but wished we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back. Was perfect for our quick stay with our pup and such a peaceful hideaway to recoup after a long drive. Walking distance to town for shops and restaurants, or a short drive. Tom was so kind and the cabin had all the thoughtful touches you hope for in an Airbnb experience. Couldn’t recommend more highly! We can’t wait for return for a longer stay.

This is the 3rd time I've had the pleasure of staying at this unit and it never disappoints. It is comfortable, roomy, and just perfect for my short business trips. They communicate well and are available to help if needed. I hope to come back!

We loved our stay here! The rooms, bed sheets, kitchen, and bathroom were spotless. The decor was charming and thoughtfully done. Our kids especially loved the snack bag the host prepared for us. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

This place is absolutely incredible! It’s located in the mountains but not too far from town, it feels so peaceful when you are at the property and especially at Louie’s lookout. We stayed there for a week for our honeymoon, it’s within driving distance to so many special spots. Chris was awesome as well.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Very accommodating and very clean and quiet. Arthur was the perfect host! Our only issue was the parking. We were in San Jose for a church conference that took place off of 1st Street near 237. We wouldn't get back to the cottage until after 10 p.m. so had to park a block or so away both nights. But, it won't stop us from returning. We will be back for next year's conference. Thanks again Arthur!

This was one of the most beautiful airbnbs we’ve stayed in! The house is gorgeous and the property is so cool - our kids loved all of the animals. Laurel is so communicative and helpful. We truly had the best time!

Yao was a perfect host. She was always responsive to my inquires and was very accommodating when I asked for an earlier check in. Yao Airbnb was very clean, in a quite neighborhood and just a short drive to Kaiser Santa Clara where I had an early morning appointment.

Taylor’s place is great. Extremely peaceful and quiet. The place is spotless and the garden is stunning! Would highly recommend

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck above the creek. Surrounded by beauty and the sounds of the creek created a sweet spot! The lighting was an excellent touch. The accommodations had everything that you need and the bed was extremely comfortable! We would stay again!!!

This is the ONLY home I will stay in when visiting my sister in Menlo Park. Beautiful setting, quiet, tastefully designed, responsive hosts 10/10!

Our stay here was great! Kitchen had everything we needed and all the appliances worked perfectly. Bathroom shower has ample hot water. The bed was unique in that it was a bit of a loft in a cozy nook. Very comfy and lots of space in the room. There was a small deck with a table and chairs. Perfect place for coffee overlooking a pretty wooded area. There were many walking traiks, state parks and beaches within a 10 mile radius. Grocery stores and restaurants were also nearby. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Silvia is the most wonderful host! Thoughtful and attentive. She has a welcome snack and champagne waiting for you when you arrive. She’s truly thought of everything! The Studio is also great! Private and peaceful. Very well stocked. She’s got everything you’ll need! We loved the private outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine. We stayed for a longer amount of time and she made sure we had fresh linens for the bed and fresh towels. We would absolutely stay here again.

I felt at home the minute I entered this handsome studio. The layout feels spacious and peaceful, with window and door looking out to a beautiful backyard shared with the hosts (who I never ran into). From the personalized welcome sign with my name on it, to small helpful notes around the unit, I felt welcomed and cared for. (Vs. last place that greeted me w/ list of rules to control my behavior). Very comfortable bed (w/ blanket wrapped in sheets like an upscale hotel--thank you!). Kitchen had everything needed for cooking a few meals. Loved the options for soft lighting in kitchen and bed reading lights. Loved being just a block away from downtown Campbell, with all its restaurants and shops. The whole neighborhood is peaceful and walkable--one of my favorites in the San Jose area. I look forward to staying here again someday!

Our stay was great. Just the two of us. Great location. Easy to walk to coffee and breakfast places in the morning and dinner at night too if you’d like. Very clean.
