Ojai's Howard Creek Camp at Rancho Grande

Founded in 1875 this Old West ranch allows guests to enjoy comfortable living in the Forest. Close to town but with no neighbors for miles. Hike forest trails with access from the property, a private, sustainable off the grid getaway. The Ranch has two spring fed ponds and a creek running through it. Interact with a wide variety of farm animals and experience abundant wildlife. Guests are provided a jeep to explore the majestic hills and the scenic 200-acre grounds.

The Cozy Stone Cottage was originally a pump house for the beautiful water tower which you can see from the front garden. You’ll love its rustic atmosphere and the warm cozy feeling of The Stone Cottage, separate bedroom, small gas fireplace stove, and sweet patio to sit and relax or eat a meal. Across the street is the Modoc Nature Preserve and Obern Bike Trail. Hendry's beach is a short 7 minute drive or one can take the scenic route through Hope Ranch. The studio is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families (with kids).
