Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Metropolitan City of Rome Capital

This is a great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the major sites in Rome. It is not luxurious, but it is very functional with a great bathroom and shower. We did not use the kitchen, heat, or a/c, so I cannot speak to that. I did not realize it was one flight up with no elevator, so that may be an issue for people who do not want to climb stairs. But that was not an issue for me. Overall, a great option and Antonello was a great host.

Federico’s place was great for us a family of 5 including al elder and a child. The location is super close to the vatican museum and Plaza de St. Pedro. Close to restaurants, the metro station, etc. Will highly recommend to anyone wanting to be just a few blocks walk to the vatican. Federico was also very responsive and welcomed me himself to the place. Thank you Federico and hope to come back soon.

Andrea has built a a beautiful home in a magical place at the very top of a village. He was friendly and responsive, and it was one of the coolest and unique places we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

A cozy place that was built with lots of passion and love. I had an amazing stay in Rome, had the pleasure of meeting Cristiana & Pietro who made sure I would feel at home, gave me a list of al the nicest not so touristy spots to see and eat at (as per my inquiry) and made sure I make the best of my holiday. ♥️

A very peaceful place despite the proximity to the airport, you can hear very little of the planes. Ideal house for a stay and discovering Rome just 30 minutes by car. Small touches on arrival that are very pleasant

Nice place with a great view

We loved our stay here! The location was walkable to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. Our flight arrived at 6:30, and we were able to check in at 10am which was very helpful. He also arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport, and the driver was so kind to drop us off at a coffee shop around the corner from the airbnb, where we could wait until 10am when we checked in. The little patio was a nice bonus to relax after a long day in the city. We had everything we needed for 5 adults. Highly recommend!

Simonetta and Max were really kind and friendly hosts, making themselves very helpful right away. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the description, small but cared for in every detail and most likely clean. It is an oasis of relaxation surrounded by greenery with many activities available to entertain both humans and four-legged friends! I especially thank the hosts for giving me a wonderful birthday. I will gladly return to stay at Villa Bovari!

We had a great stay at Stefano’s place! The apartment was perfect in every way. Upon arrival, we were able to immediately get settled and begin relaxing in the outdoor space (with sweeping views of the city). The multiple seating areas were excellent, and we loved taking advantage of the hot tub. Such an awesome way to relax after sightseeing all day. The indoor spaces were also very comfortable and functional. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen were great for our needs. The location is close to restaurants, shops, and more. Highly recommend this place for a couple, family, or even a single traveler. We hope to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location was peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. One of the true highlights was the outdoor living area, complete with a beautiful pool that made every moment feel like a retreat. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our host, Claudia. She was incredibly kind and responsive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel like part of her family. Her warmth and hospitality truly set this stay apart. I can’t recommend this place enough. I can't recommend this apartment enough! From the moment I arrived, it felt like home—warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, making everything easily accessible, and the space was thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you need. The two huge terraces were a dream, offering stunning views and the perfect spot to relax. And the jacuzzi made the stay feel like a true retreat. A lovely welcome from Pietro, who helped us in and showed us around his fabulous apartment to the strains of Bob Marley. We loved the apartment and absolutely did not want to leave. Hope to come back for another stay soon!

Amazing stay at the villa with the family, didn’t want to leave. 2 adults 4 kids. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely quiet area, close to shop, beach and bars. 1hr to Rome via bus and train. (Get the right bus tickets) Bus to and from airport was super easy and only cost €1.50 each Simonetta was great with communication, couldn’t have asked for more.

Fabrizio was amazing! So kind and full of great info about the history or Rome and locations to see. The place is exactly as described, so believe it when he says it is small. It was perfect for the 2 of us and the outside rooftop patio was brilliant.

The flat is just as described, it was secure and we felt safe. It was like a home from home, we had everything we needed. Daniel collected us from the airport (optional) and checked us in. He provided us with a clear map and explained how we could get to the places we wanted to get to. He responded quickly to any message we sent and was always cheerful. The terrace is lovely and St Peter’s can be seen. The smell of jasmine in the street is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Daniel, we will definitely recommend you to our friends and family.

Great location. Classic Italian rooftop view. Leaves little to be desired. Beware: - you will have to climb 5 flights of stairs to access the apartment - it is in a very popular and lively area. You can hear everyone down below from the terrace until late in the night/into the morning. Indoors, it is quiet. - the tea kettle is dirty, i wouldn’t drink from it - stovetop is extremely difficult to use (or broken?) - no clothes iron is provided

We came to stay as a young family with our 10 month old daughter. Matteo is a great host and very communicative. The apartment is situated close to shops and restaurants, with lots to do in the city. It is accessed up some steps then has a larger staircase or very small lift to the first floor (we weren't able to use with a pram). It was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy in the evening. There is a coffee machine (no kettle but a hob) and a large travel cot (suitable to at least 2 years old), fridge and sink. The air conditioning worked very well. Good location, close to Vatican City and around 30 minutes walk to the Colosseum. We would be happy to recommend with 5 stars!

This is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at! Valentina is a fantastic communicator and resource, the apartment is spacious and in a great area away from the city centre but very close to easy transit, it is clean and bright and comfy. And it is extremely well-stocked with everything one might need, which is very helpful for longer stays. I was in Rome for two weeks and Valentina also cleaned the apartment in the middle of my trip. This will be the first place I check on next time I visit Rome!

I booked Stefano’s apartment as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday, as neither of us had visited Rome before! Stefano was an amazing host, he decorated the apartment beautifully and even left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate which was so so kind of him. He gave some great recommendations of places we should visit and was so responsive throughout our whole trip! The location of the apartment is amazing you can see the colosseum outside of the bedroom window, the place was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful with modern decor throughout, it was even better than I could have imagined and even better than the photos, which I didn’t think would be possible. We are already planning our next visit to Rome next year and we will definitely be staying at Stefano’s place again! I would recommend to anyone to book. Stefano thank you so much for making our first trip to Rome so amazing!!

Very welcoming and quiet apartment in a very nice neighborhood minutes from the Colosseum. Self check-in, very easy to access thanks to effective communication with Giammaria. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Very beautiful and comfortable place to stay the pictures are exactly the same as showing, a lot of restaurants and places to go. A little bit far from the city for public transportation. Love this place sorry we just stay for one night. Definitely going back.

Lovely private place only 1 minute walk from Manzoni Metro, helpful in connecting us to the local attractions as it is only 2 stops away from Termini metro. Toiletries and breakfast items were provided for us, along with quality furniture and bathroom facilities. Would recommend.
