House vacation rentals in Mendota Heights

This is our 2nd time at Harmala’s place. Comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Harmala responded quickly when one of the remote controls to the tv needed batteries. The pool was perfect as usual. There was a van and blue car that came by daily to work in the field and tend to the chickens but they did not interfere with our stay at all. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to our next trip here.

Great place. Eric had wonderful recommendations for walkable restaurants and other things to do in the area. The yard and garage area were a hit. Very friendly host.

Perfect, pet-friendly, weekend getaway! Admittedly, the fenced-in backyard and pool was the draw for us. But the house is absolutely beautiful, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Rob was very responsive prior to our visit. And made the home inviting, with lights on and music-playing when we arrived. Private, peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you, Rob! My wife and I loved staying at this beautiful house!! The house was extremely nice, the pool was incredible, and patio was very relaxing. The house was also perfectly clean and had a great ambience and decor. We thought the hosts were great and they did an amazing job making sure we enjoyed every aspect of our trip. We would highly recommend staying there!!

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in easy. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Would definitely stay here again!

The pool was a huge hit for us! Stayed by the water for three days, nice deck area that had a covered seating area. The backyard felt very private, hardly saw or heard any neighbors. Very spacious in the house, large rooms and bathrooms. Would defiantly stay again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini staycation, which provided ample space for our family and engaging activities for my teenagers. The three-season back porch with a fan was my preferred spot. We all appreciated the pool. We will definitely return

I stayed in this sweet little bungalow while visiting my son, daughter-in-law and my new baby grand-daughter. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect home base. From the moment I arrived, the place felt like a warm hug. It’s soft, quiet, and full of charm. Everything inside is thoughtfully arranged and fully equipped.—from complete kitchen to a very comfortable bedroom with a king-sized bed and a flat screen tv on the wall. The living space was cozy and inviting, a gorgeous couch with soft blankets and a gentle atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a joyful (and sometimes exhausting!) day of baby cuddles and family time. It was close enough to visit my family each day with ease, but still offered a peaceful space to retreat to and recharge. It truly felt like a little sanctuary. For any family coming to town to be near loved ones, this bungalow is the perfect spot.

This basement apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It’s clean, comfortable, decorated nicely, and well outfitted. We were in town to visit family and needed a comfy place to land in the evenings. Perfect! Since I was coming into town by myself and my husband was joining me later, I was glad to be in a safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood. It’s close to restaurants, groceries, gas, …everything. The host, Rebecca, is friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated clear, easy directions for getting in. I’m always a little hesitant to rent part of a house instead of a whole house, but I would heartily recommend this one and I look forward to returning to it. Thanks Rebecca!

Maura is a fantastic host! She’s very responsive and flexible. We were in town for a concert at xcel energy center and it was only about a 10 min drive to the venue so the location is wonderful! The home was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend and definitely will stay again.

Had a fantastic stay! Infinity was very responsive and accommodating! Great home- plenty of space, beds, bathrooms, clean on arrival, great kitchen area, and the pool/foosball tables were fun! Would stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Saint Paul!

This is a beautifully decorated house with super comfortable beds, lots of cozy towels and great shower products along with well appointed kitchen. Has window units for A/C but was nice and cool even in 84 degree weather in summer. I should have read the listing better as the only thing that I was disappointed in was no washer/dryer, but that is listed accurately, I just assumed all houses at this price point you could run a load of wash (now I’ll check better on every listing). As long as you don’t have any laundry, this house is perfect and hosts were fantastic. It’s beautiful, clean, comfortable and hosts are generous and responsive.

The space is cozy but well appointed, comfortable and well located. It has all of the charm of a historic carriage house.

Shane's place was a great. The backyard was really cool. We saw deer and wild turkeys roaming the backyard. The house had everything you needed especially when you cook your own food. The location of the house was close to all highways needed to get around the twin cities easily. Shane gave us local recommendations based on our interests. His communication was welcoming and his response time was quick. If you enjoy soft beds, which I do specifically, this was likely the best bed I've had at any airbnb and vrbo I've stayed at. We slept great on them. this was a great getaway for us (2 parents and 2 kids 5yrs and 7yrs old). thank you again for a great stay!

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

Aaron is an exceptional and responsive host. A couple unexpected issues arose on the first day and Aaron was proactive, responsive and professional and resolved the issues quickly. The home is immaculate and it’s clear the host takes great pride in guests having a great stay. I highly recommend Aaron’s place and would stay there again.

Lisa's place is great. It's clean, has great views, and truly feels like you are up in the trees. We'll appointed kitchen and comfortable bed, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby.

The spot was just perfect for visiting my son, who lives a couple blocks away. There was a grocery and restaurants nearby. We walked to the Mississippi river to access miles of trails. Lastly, it was easy access to the airport. Sarah was very helpful.

House was clean and comfortable. The house had a unique cool vibe. Everything was in working order and was a pleasant stay.

Location was not as ideal as I thought. That was partly my fault & will plan better next time. No shopping near by, etc

Absolutely loved my stay at Dayton House! A peaceful, spotless, dreamy little spot in a beautiful walkable neighbourhood. Kyra could not have been more kind and friendly. I felt so welcome and the space was perfect - so many amenities in a wonderfully finished space. It felt tucked away and private with plenty of room and beautiful skylights to wake up to. Will definitely be booking again next time I'm visiting Saint Paul!

This is the 3rd year I have rented this house from Joe. It continues to be my first choice when I come to St. Paul. The house is great and Joe is very responsive if needed. I will definitely rent this again.
