North Pole Christmas Michigan Lodge

KurtRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My Wife and I were celebrating our 10 year Wedding Anniversary with 2 other couples
Check in was seamless and response time to inquiries was almost instant during normal hours
Daniel’s place was spacious, clean, with all very modern updates
Plenty of room for 6 and more if needed
5 TV’s that I can remember, a nice walk out deck, and basement lounging area with Washer and Dryer
Fairly secluded from neighbors
There was a fire pit with plenty of wood in the backyard
A walk to Lake Superior took only 10 minutes
The Drive into Munising was only 10 minutes tops as well, where there we were able to take a boat tour of Pictured Rocks
the place was also only about 45 minutes from Marquette, where the wonderful Greywalls Golf Course is, along with good eats and a few Brewery’s
Enjoy some peace, quiet, sights, Pasties, a small casino 1/4 mile away, Christmas every month of the year, and plenty of Whitefish Dip, all for a very reasonable price!

Deluxe Lakeside Cottage #5, Private Hot Tub & Dock

ValentinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
In general, I really liked everything đŸ„č The hot tub is just great 😍 Everything is clean and tidy, Jacqueline was very quick and clear in responding to messages. We had a problem with a tree falling on the road and no access to the house, but George fixed it literally 5 minutes after I messaged him. The only thing that was a bit of a disadvantage was the condition of the kitchen, in my opinion, it needs a little repair. But in general, this did not interfere with our vacation, so we were satisfied and I can confidently recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to be alone with nature. This place is really worth a visit!😊

Northstar Lodge

TheresaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Northstar Lodge in Marquette! It was great for our friend trip, which included our young children and a baby! From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately at home. The location is ideal — just a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Marquette’s shops, restaurants, and sights. We had a local grocery store and gas station within a 6-minute drive. The house was so cozy and had thoughtful art throughout it. It felt like someone lived there. The coffee cart was amazing for our early morning as parents. We loved getting a s'mores welcome gift that we could do with our kids. The place was great for families. We had a highchair, stroller, beach towels, dinnerware ware and baby gates. Loved how affordable this stay was sharing it with friends!

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

River Front Log Cabin

AprilRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

The Love Shack

MaeganRating, 5 stars7 months ago
If you're seeking to escape the chaos of every day life, I highly recommend the Love Shack! It's a remote, cozy cabin with magical views. Just be prepared for off-grid living—no electricity or cell service, but the propane heater keeps it warm, the bed is comfy, and there were tons of books, maps + resources for UP exploring. The kitchen has some essentials, but you'll need to bring your own cookware. You'll find well water, a clean + stocked outhouse, and a lovely sauna with stunning lake views. The hosts are exceptional; Maggie went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease during my first solo off-grid trip. She responded promptly to any questions I had and never missed a detail. Overall, it was a memorable and restorative retreat from the world.

Nordic Vibe on Lake Independence

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was exactly as expected and just what we needed. Even though it’s off the beaten path, the instructions were perfect and we found it easily. The house had everything we needed with instructions and labels (we were in heaven!). The kitchen had plenty of appliances. We were warned in the instructions that the stove could be difficult to light (and it was). We were able to walk right in with only our food and clothes. It was clean and cozy with 1 bedroom downstairs (heated floor!) and 2 beds in the loft. The stairs to the loft are a bit steep as seen in the pictures on the site. Outdoor options included a gas grill, kayaks, and swimming and fishing options (poles provided). There were games and puzzles inside and a smart TV. The furniture inside and out were comfortable. We loved being able to bring our pup. She actually enjoyed the heated floor as she slept in the downstairs bedroom. The lake was beautiful and accessible. The experience was amazing from start to finish.

Lonesome Loon-2025 season opens in June

ChloeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Such an amazing place.. my husband, son and I stayed here last summer while I was pregnant with my daughter. We just finished up our second trip, this time our daughter was 7 months old and her & my son had an absolute blast. It is so relaxing for parents, and so fun for kiddos. Our 6 year old son played outside from sun up to sun down, and then came inside to play with the legos and stuffies he found around the cabin. Never a minute of boredom, especially for the water babies. It’s also really nice having everything so close together. We could get both kiddos to bed and go to the sauna or sit around the fire while still being able to hear them. Probably the most peaceful vacation destination I’ve ever been to. We cry every time we leave. Cannot wait to come back again!! Also, the hosts..absolutely amazing! I was kind of worried about having hosts on site, because I really like my privacy but they’re so kind and helpful that it was actually nicer when they were there vs not
