Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Marion

Madison has been an exemplary host, and the house was a great fit for 6 adults and 4 kids aged 4, 3, 1 and below 1. Even though we came for only a few days, I had lots of questions. Madison always responded promptly and helpfully. The host went beyond the call of duty by checking with cleaners when house became available, and facilitating an earlier check-in. That was greatly appreciated by our party. The house layout with bedrooms on two floors was perfect for us, where some kids who wake up real early slept on one floor, and others who wake up later are on another floor. Huge dinner table that could fit us all. Lack of clutter that let the energetic kids move around freely. Three bathrooms conveniently located, one on each floor. The availability of good quality, foldable beach chairs and a beach umbrella were a huge plus. The location of the house is in a quiet neighborhood, where we enjoyed walking, jogging or pushing strollers.

This was a family Christmas getaway, and it was perfect.

We had a fantastic family vacation in Falmouth and Anne’s house greatly exceeded all of our expectations! Comfortable, beautiful decorated and appointed with every amenity. We will be back!

Craig was awesome and extremely nice and understanding! The house was clean and one of the best I have stayed in. The location is quiet and tucked in a small neighborhood. I had the most amazing stay and would suggest this to anyone going to this location!

Beautiful location with great views while sitting by fire pit or even from inside house. Split level allows for some alternative sleeping arrangements which worked great for us. This was such a relaxing place to stay. Jessica’s communication was quick and remarkably helpful — and she provided great recommendations and suggestions. The overall layout of the home affords room for privacy while also providing a comfortable communal space. The walkability of the location was much better than I expected, with closeby beaches, taverns, and restaurants. To be specific, 5 people stayed here — myself, wife, two kids, and an infant, for a stay around a month. And we never felt constrained (the back deck makes for a great workspace). Thanks again — would love to stay here in the future!

It is a nice house for a large family. We had between 8-12 there at any points. Close to beaches.

A home away from home for our 2024 family Christmas! We came together from Florida, Georgia, and Montana to see and celebrate with our newly transplanted Rhode Island family and Kenneth’s home was perfect for us! Kenneth was very responsive and very kind; flexible, too. He went out of his way on more than one occasion to help. There was plenty of room for everyone. We even cooked Christmas dinner in the kitchen! The quiet upstairs was ideal for our infant granddaughter at nap time. The location could not have been more perfect for our purposes.

We came to town for the marathon and Mary and Dwight’s place had the comfy couch and beds we needed for a relaxing recovery. They were proactive and responsive hosts and had easy check in and check out instructions! We enjoyed our stay in Newport and several of their local recommendations.

Apartment was pristine, ultra comfortable, and perfectly located. Loved having a washer dryer, extra blankets and nearby off street parking. Overall, would highly recommend.

Nice place to stay. Easy to find and was quiet and had all the essentials.

Great apartment in the heart of Newport! The apartment was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. Perfect size for a group of 2-3. As stated in the listing, there is one bedroom with a bed and one pull out couch. I stayed with my group of 3 and this arrangement was perfect for us. Cohost Deb was very responsive and answered all questions/communicated with me before, during and after the stay. There were plenty of linens, towels, and other essentials. There are many restaurants, bars, convenient stores and entertainment walking distance from the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here, we had no issues and were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. Side note: this apartment is on the 2nd floor, there is a bar next door on the first floor and it can get nosey, if this is an issue for you I would suggest noise canceling headphones or ear plugs - the louder night of the week for us was Saturday.

Cozy, comfortable, perfect location for exploring the "cottages" and the cliff walk. Was also quiet and residential, though just a few minutes from restaurants and the main touristy street. We didn't have a car and didn't feel we were missing out. Also, as others have said, the bed was so comfortable - I'm already thinking about going back!! And the chocolates and tea were such a lovely touch!

We loved Paul's place as it was very accessible to Thames street. Plus it was able to accomodate my big family. It was also nice that there is parking space available as it is difficult to find a parking in Newport. Paul responded very quickly too when we encountered a power outlet issue in one of the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay and had made my family's first trip to Newport a great one. Thank YOU!

Location is great - steps away from Thames St. It was clean and the staff are very friendly. They checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed.

What a darling space! We felt right at home. It was quiet and cute inside and we were able to really relax. Thank you, Sam for such creating an inviting living area!

This property was the perfect size for my husband and me. Very clean and had all the basics needed. The bed was very comfortable too. The location was amazing - steps from Thames Street. Troy was extremely responsive, especially when I left a few items behind and had to coordinate with him to get them back.

Debra had a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. The balcony was especially enjoyable. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need.

Perfect space for a long weekend or low key beach trip. Walking distance to the beach and very quick drive to other restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. While the space is smaller it has all the amenities to handle everything you’d need like a full kitchen, grill, etc. We went in the offseason and still found plenty to do but you could tell the area would be more active during the peak cape season.

This was my second stay at Garrett’s and the place was just as nice as I remembered (plus a a few upgrades). Garrett’s always quick to respond to inquiries, unit had just about everything we needed including beach towels and location is great as it’s a short bike ride from center town and peaceful/quiet if you’re looking for a balanced vacation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming, clean apartment. It was the perfect size for two people and the location on Commercial Street was ideal for accessing everything in Ptown. Paul was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed and answered questions promptly. Thank you!
