Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mararikulam

This brand new house is beautiful with a lovely garden out front and generous patio to hang out on upstairs. We had the best time and the family, Honey and Jayaraj were the kindest hosts I’ve ever had. They came out to the main road to meet us, rescued us when we were caught in the rain, and brought us all the things we needed. Their property is immaculate and a quick walk to the quiet beach nearby. The room was minimalist and pretty with nice linens and fresh paint. The morning we left they shared a home cooked Kerala breakfast that was delicious. I would love to come back ASAP- I wish I had been able to stay longer. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in peaceful surroundings…

one of the best backwater stay. Thomas took extra steps to help us in everything. getting our luggage from Parking place getting tablets oh and one more I broke my laptop mouse while working in Late evening and I had finish the Work he Arranged someone to pick new one for me.. aww that was so sweet I could save my day ending my Work. place was clean, neat maintained well, Regards, Nandini Bharath

Had just the perfect stay at Joseph’s with my parents. The property is gorgeous with the river, the morning sun and sound of birds, but the apartment inside also was top notch, really well furnished and stocked with all essential amenities. Most importantly Joseph and his wife made our stay delightful with their incredible hospitality - they went of their way to help at every turn. Really grateful and highly recommend!

Had an excellent experience staying at Jack’s place.A home away from home experience.The home food cooked by his Mother was one of the highlights of our stay there.Authentic and delicious Kerala food,and very reasonably priced.Next was the kayaking experience,early morning,starting prior to sunrise.The 3 hr trip was just just great, should not miss it,whether one has done kayaking earlier or not.Other things we did not try,because of our short stay there.I would love to spend another vacation at Jack’s place.I highly recommend it to all,who want to get a great experience of Back Water Life in Kerala.

Had a great stay in the home stay! It’s a bit hard to find with the tuktuk but on google maps it’s easy. It’s a quiet, peaceful, walkable area. The patio is nice to enjoy a beer or food on. Room was clean and had mosquito protection. Clean and simple bathroom. I didn’t try the food but it smelled so good and I’m regretting not getting it now! 😆

The place is beautiful and peaceful. The house has a fantastic view of the backwaters of kochi. The host Jojo was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was homemade and it was very tasty. If you are planning a peaceful vacation in a house with a great ambiance, I would definitely recommend this place.

An Unforgettable Stay at the Best Airbnb in Cherthala! This place is truly a hidden gem! With a stunning view of the Vembanad Lake, a beautifully maintained swimming pool, and a scenic, peaceful atmosphere, it’s hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. The property is extremely well-kept and bursting with charm — from rabbits, swans, ducks, and a pet hamster, to lush fruit trees and a dedicated indoor plant area, nature lovers will absolutely adore it here. Hosts Jose and Borjia were amazing — incredibly welcoming, always available, and genuinely caring. The food prepared by Tommy and his wife was simply outstanding — homely, flavorful, and customizable based on what you ask for. It made the stay feel even more personal and warm. It’s a very private space, perfect for relaxing, and if you’re up for some adventure, you can go for a boat ride or kayak right from the property. This place has everything — tranquility, nature, and quality. I’d recommend it to everyone.
