Pleasant and peaceful stay. A perfect getaway destination! Would highly recommend.

Spacious, very well-equipped, exceptionally comfortable and clean property, conveniently located for accessing and exploring Cherpunkal, Pala and surrounding areas. The house is just a few metres from the busy Pala-Ettumanoor road, yet it's tucked away in a quiet place, and is quite peaceful. There are several good eateries and supermarkets within walking distance -- there's even a shopping arcade nearby. The house looks better than in the photos -- all bedrooms have en-suite facilities and each floor has it's own large living and dining areas. Plus, there's ample car parking space. Mr. Saju and Melvin are wonderful hosts, who receive you personally when you arrive, and are always ready to help. Me and my family had a wonderful week-long stay here, and the next time we are in the area, we'll certainly look to return!!

Joshy is an excellent host and you need not think twice or consider other options in the vicinity. All the fabulous reviews are apt. The place looked much better than the pics,imo. Can't wait to visit again with family. Thanks much Joshy. 🙏

Our family had an amazing stay at On The Rocks. The location is serene and beautiful. The cottage is perched up on the hill true to its name “On the Rocks” and offer an amazing view to the mountains through its big glass windows. The caretaker, Rashiq is very friendly and hospitable. We loved his home cooked meals and knowledgeable of the location. Highly recommended and would love to go back!

The best expansive view, we got up to see the sunrise from our balcony and went for a short walk in the evening to see the sunset. Very private and romantic, amazing bird, reptile and butterflies all around. Very remote and secluded and peaceful, we stayed an extra night as loved it so much. You meet their jeep at the bottom of the track and get transported up to the hut. We slept soundly Bring your own snacks and drinks

What a beautiful home! So serene, calm and beautiful views throughout. Mithun has really put a lot of thought into every aspect which is really appreciated. Getting to the stay is easiest by car as it's a slightly steep hilly walk, though a very pleasant one. The whole place is bright and airy, with stunning views yet very private. Yeshu, the kindly caretaker was around to help as best he could. The stay has no TV which I felt was a plus as you can really enjoy the stay while you're there, and Mithun has left lots of activities (badminton set, dart board) to keep guests entertained. Great suggestions for nearby food places, though I'd also suggest trying the real local smaller eateries where we had some really great food. Overall I'd recommend this stay, well worth it. We had an amazing time at this peaceful homestay. It was truly as described, surrounded by beautiful nature. We were well looked after by our caretakers Arun, Shinto and Ajith. This felt like a real added luxury. They catered to our every need, including organising a car and tour of Vagamon. Special thanks to Arun for sourcing some jackfruit for us and his mum for making a delicious jackfruit vegetable dish! Our 10-month old was gobbling it up straight from the serving bowl! The pool was inviting and refreshing, also naturally shaded by some trees which was perfect for the kids. Minor point but there was no high chair- these were surprisingly hard to come by generally during our travels in Kerala! There were also a fair few mosquitoes so would recommend good repellent, the homestay did provide a couple of plug in ones, but probably need more and some coils for outdoors as well. All in all a lovely stay and very memorable experience, thanks for hosting us.

A beautifully curated space, we absolutely loved it! Oshin and her dad were really helpful from the start, showing us around the space and even dropping us back to town the next morning after checkout. We’ll definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful time at this homestay. The house had such a good feeling about it, and we really enjoyed being there. It was so calm and cozy that we spent most of our time just relaxing at the homestay instead of going out. A big thank you to Shiby, the caretaker, for being so helpful during our stay. We will definitely tell our friends and family about this great place.
