I had a fantastic stay at Goutham’s place. The home was clean, cozy, and just as described in the listing. Goutham was an excellent host—very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay. I had an incredible experience during my stay at Wenge House in Madikeri, which made my trip to Coorg truly memorable. The host, Kshama, was exceptionally generous and accommodating, providing numerous suggestions for sightseeing and dining nearby. They even arranged a jeep for a trip to Mandalpatti, further enhancing our adventure. The property was spacious, neat, tidy, and centrally located, making it convenient to explore major attractions within walking distance. The host was proactive and helpful throughout the stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The house was well-equipped with all amenities, and truly felt like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Wenge House to anyone visiting Madikeri for an outstanding Airbnb experience.

We, a family of four, stayed on the upper floor. What truly stood out was the warm and helpful nature of Ayappa Sir. The accommodation is spacious and budget-friendly. It has two bedrooms, both with attached bathrooms—one room has a king bed and a single bed, while the other has a queen bed and a single bed. While it's not a luxury stay, it offers all the basic facilities and is safe for families. There's also convenient parking space for two cars. As for food, the breakfast was good—especially the puttu, which was soft and tasty. The kadala curry was decent. We also had lunch and tried the meals, breakfast items, fried rice, and paneer. The fried rice was good, though not the traditional style, and the chilly chicken was okay but not authentic. Despite a few minor points, I would still rate this place 5 out of 5 for its many positives. A special touch at checkout was when Ayappa Sir gifted us four avocados grown near the villa—something we truly appreciated.

There’s not much to say about this place which has not been told in other reviews already. Everything was great and as mentioned in the description. It’s the ideal place for people interested in birding as a lot of species can be found in and around the property itself. Various species of parakeets and woodpeckers are so common in the property it’s unbelievable. I will definitely recommend this place to others. The host recommended a restaurant nearby ‘Cuisine Papera’ which had the best Coorgi cuisine and it’s a must try. I have found my go to place in Coorg. I would however like to suggest the host that add some more options for food as everyone might not want to go out for food. Although we faced no problems for food as there are very good restaurants at around 20 mins drive from the property.
