Vacation rentals with a kayak in Madera County

The lake views surrounding the house was incredible. I can put in words how great it was to spend time with family and friends on the patio and living room areas. Walking down to the lake was a real special treat and sitting around a fire table with the moonlight shining off the lake was unforgettable. What an amazing Gem in the Fresno/Clovis area

A lovely spot to stay. We were five families with lots of young kids and we enjoyed the large kitchen and living spaces, the various games, and the nice areas to walk around. I would advise anyone that the fifth bedroom (not pictured I think) is a very small room with a bunkbed. Perfect for kids but not as good for adults. It definitely could have used a thorough cleaning though. Also an update to the listed amenities - there are a lot of kitchen gadgets, a pack and play, and two high chairs.

I just want to thank Lisa for such a wonderful experience. I wanted to show my parents a relaxing and wonderful time and this place did just that. It has everything you need and could not have asked for a better set up. Just make a cup of coffee in the morning, sit outside and watch the deer.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The house has everything you could possibly need. There are plenty of activities inside and outside of the house. We were 2 families with 5 kids total and everyone was entertained for hours upon hours. The pond was such a lovely addition to our trip. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and watching the wildlife: The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There are plenty of games and toys for kids. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook for a large group. The one down side we encountered was the window coverings in the bedrooms. The blinds don’t fit some windows properly and some of the larger windows don’t have blinds at all so the light comes into the bedrooms early in the mornings. Just something to note for families with small kids who need dark rooms.

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.

Fantastic place! We have been to Bass Lake a few times prior but this was the first time at Tom’s and we loved it. So easy to walk to the restaurants/bar/grocery store or down to the water. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great! Definitely booking again for another trip to the lake. Cant wait to come back.

Our experience was outstanding. A last-minute decision to take the kids on a spring break trip, instead of staying in town for Easter, was a great success. The amenities provided were exceptional, and the hot tub was a lot of fun. The pond out back was a huge plus. It provided our boys with outdoors activities, while dinner was being prepared. What else can we say. We loved it! Yes! We will certainly be returning.

Where do I start? 10 out of 10 highly recommend. From the moment we got there this cabin screamed nostalgia of my childhood. Very well kept and the pics just don’t do it justice. Kim had a welcome basket for us with all the goodies for s’mores along with ninja turtle hot cocoa for the little one, such a sweet touch. Everything was very clean. Game room was a hit for the family! And Don’t wait to open the garage, we waited until the 2nd day. They have endless activities, corn hole, ping pong, darts, sleds, and more! The backyard had perfect sled hills, beautiful scenic trails and a nice lake/pond in walking distance. Neighborhood was very nice and the people were extremely pleasant. Kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware, ideal for our family meals. There’s nothing they didn’t have. Beds were comfy and every room had a stunning view. This cabin was a true snow oasis. Our family had an absolute blast and will cherish these memories for a lifetime. We will definitely be back

Excellent location for us as we like to stay as close as possible to China Peak. Loved all the extra blankets/bedding, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We very much enjoyed our time in the cabin and appreciated the nice updates and decor. We had fun using the games and there were a bunch of sleds there to use as well. Families should note- the upstairs rooms don’t offer much privacy. There is a bed on the loft that’s open to the downstairs. The master bedroom includes the bunk bed room- so kids in the bunk bed room exit into the master and attached bathroom with only a sliding door in between. Lots of beds, which is great, but all very close together, which can be a challenge as you can hear everyone.

The hosts were very friendly & communicated well with me along with the other guests. It was a great three day trip :)

The Lodge is beyond beautiful. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cabin. It’s secluded, has a lot of privacy, a lot of trails, ponds, etc. So much to describe. Almost makes you not wanna go back to the city life. But overall NOMA did a great job. Fast communication. Any questions answered. The Lodge… it’s a work of art. Never been to a cabin before and I wanna go back already. All the work and detail gone into the cabin is perfect. Love the big rooms and enormous walk in showers. The high ceilings and chandelier is amazing too. Really love the loft and upper deck. The late night star seeing is something to look forward to. So much to say. But it’s definitely my favorite place. My family loved it. Thank you NOMA.

The house was beautiful and kept us fully entertained.

The place was very cozy and felt like home it was easy to get comfortable, spacious and clean environment. We went in the winter so heater worked great warmed up quickly. We had group of 5 ppl and there was plenty of room for all of us. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so that was convenient. I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to stay at nice quiet getaway home. Furniture was nice high ceilings and the set up felt 80s had a touch of modern look which I loved. Great price for a 2 night stay! Thank you again had a fun Birthday weekend.

Tammy was a very responsive, gracious and helpful host. We were towing a boat and my parents were towing a trailer and she went out of her way to send us videos of the driveway and another boat trailer parking area to reassure us we had room to store all of our stuff safely, which we did. The house is right across the street from the lake and a short easy walk. The private neighborhood boat launch and dock with small swimming beach area was really nice and easy to walk to. Our kids loved the pool table, poker table, ping pong and all the other toys and games. The house is spacious and laid out nicely for large groups and extended families. Overall a great time, thank you!
