had an amazing stay away from the city here at your beautiful place in awahnee. The starry night along with the sounds of the night life, frogs frogging and birds chirping, takes you away to another place. very comfy and really gives you that home feeling! there's a vons down the street and restaurants with all the good breakfasts we all like to eat. highly recommend this little get away!

Best Air B&B I have experienced so far Usually a long term renter and all previous hosts were fantastic. This location was perfect for my assignment, quiet, serene and so well built and appointed. Jami is the perfect host with 5 star accommodations

They were such friendly, attentive hosts! We felt totally welcomed and at home. They were extremely accommodating to us having our small children and made sure we had everything that we could possibly need.

The cottage is cozy and the perfect place for a couple to stay. Really enjoyed the welcome and the cleanliness. Besides having the sound of the creek in the background my favorite part of the stay was the vintage claw foot tube. Hot baths after a day of hiking in Yosemite was a cherry on top! The bed is soft and the linens were smooth. I slept well all 4 nights we stayed.

The place looks better in person it’s decorated cute and it’s very spacious. Thr kitchenette has all the basics needed. The bed was comfy for me, the extra mattress came in handy, we had my son sleep there. The tv was black and white though couldn’t get to change it to color but I didn’t mind I just watched it like that. We took a flashlight because we did read other reviews where there’s no porch light. We enjoyed our stay. We traveled to Yosemite and this place is the nearest to the south entrance. 25miles away or something like that.

Stephanie and Dwight were fantastic hosts! The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. They were super responsive and made us feel right at home. We’d definitely love to come back—highly recommend!

It was a nice private back area with my own private patio, barbecue and out side table! Good spot right in town. 2 blocks away from a lot of bars and restaurants and a mini mart across the street!!

We spent a very pleasant night in the house. Easy to find and the photos were accurate. Clean and perfect for a night in Fresno.

Wonderful cottage in the heart of Old Fig. Quiet, and comfortable and a spacious studio. Will certainly come back next time I need a room in Fresno. Heather was very responsive. Excellent hosts.

A nice place to stay for a short trip. It's small and max occupancy of 3 makes sense. Once the pull out sofa is used then quite challenging to move in and out through front door. Very convenient location and hosts were always quick to respond. Maybe clear instructions with photos to find the place would be helpful if someone is coming. All in all a pleasant stay. Bathroom had a leak just before we checked out. Nice dog run area and cooking place outside with fireplace

Kathy's place was wonderful and peaceful. The interior decor was very inviting and homey feeling. Both she and her husband were warm, kind, and friendly to chat with. As everyone else has mentioned, the cookies were amazing too! 😉 Thank you for a great place to stay in the Fresno area!

We stayed here for a couple nights as a home base while visiting Yosemite. The place is lovely, clean, and the back patio is so peaceful. While it is a little far from Yosemite Valley (about 1.5 hours), both routes to get there and back are very pretty drives and we had a great time!

Steve and Tami have a great place for those that value getting away from it all while still being very comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our two dogs. The property has many amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The dogs had their own fenced yard complete with water bowls, dog bags and a toys. For the humans; corn hole, horse shoes and walks in the woods were much appreciated. The property was very clean, updated and relaxed. Very nice porch to start the day with coffee and look out at the wood or finish off the evening enjoying the locally produced little fruit pies Steve and Tami leave you in the fridge. The cherry on top had to be Steve and Tami themselves. Delightful hosts that definitely have the gift of hospitality and conversation. Thanks for a great stay!

I had an amazing stay at this location, the house was perfect.. Spacious & equipped with comfortable furniture! Very lovely place to stay, I would stay here again forsure .. 10/10

Our trip was bittersweet due to visiting an ailing parent. The hosts helped made our visit pleasant during a difficult time. The cottage was perfect in every way. So much better than a hotel. Will definitely rent again the next time we are in town. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. They even had a goodie basket full of snacks available on our first day. The location is nestled in a forest like area full of different types of trees and other plants that made the outdoor area a serene place to have coffee in the morning and a beverage in the evening. You are not far from the hills and Yosemite National Park and you can see the snow tops of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You are about an hour and 45 min drive to beautiful Monterey, Ca. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful little cottage.

Cara's directions recommended getting to her place during daylight, when you arrive for the first time. That was a good recommendation, as the area is a little dark at night. That does make it real peaceful, though. If you follow the directions, you can access the property just fine. The grounds are VERY nice.

Super good place to stay when visiting Yosemite. The airbnb is very well-furnished, providing all the basics and more. The host is very nice and kind, and replies messages quickly.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Lovers Nest. We were traveling from LA for our first visit to Yosemite and found the proximity to the park (about 1hr) and the ease of the drive/route to be a huge advantage to staying at Maja's place. The property and space itself were lovely - very clean, comfortable and looks just as it does in the pictures. We drove to YNP two days in a row, so unfortunately did not have time to explore the trails on the property but very much enjoyed watching deer grazing out back our last morning. The complimentary bottle of wine and coffee were also a thoughtful touch. Another bonus was the air purifier that we used at night for white noise. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay near Mariposa in a lovely relaxing space.
