We had a great stay at Caroline's. The estate is beautiful, the accommodation is very nice, very clean and comfortable. Caroline is very friendly and very helpful and kind, she does everything to make the stay pleasant. The estate is very close to Jonzac where there are quite a few things to visit. I recommend.

Brilliant option for a base to explore this region. Emilie and Nicholas were fabulous hosts, the room and house were delightful - so tranquil and comfortable. It was lovely coming “home” to our room in the chateau after a busy day exploring the region. So much to do and see in this area. But waking up to a crisp October morning and having breakfast (all local produce - yum!) overlooking vineyards as far as the eye can see was surreal for us and quiet breathtaking. Best stay we’ve had so far in our 3 month Europe adventure.

We ate the Périgord menu prepared by Odile which was excellent, quantity and quality. We slept well, the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast was perfect too. Thanks Odile

Great stay at Gaelle's. We had a pleasant, peaceful and quiet time. Gaëlle is a very responsive and above all very welcoming host. She takes the time to explain everything to us and she is kind enough to make your stay perfect. The accommodation is perfect, decorated with love, very modern and functional. The jacuzzi is clean and sheltered in case of rain, which is a real plus. The boards and welcome cocktails are incredible, a real treat for the eyes as well. We had a wonderful stay with Joy and Alex (and Hero and Coco). From the lead up to the visit where Joy was incredibly helpful with directions to our arrival which was incredibly welcoming we were delighted with the lead up to our stay. The Pigonnier is set in a picturesque location and is a great size for a couple to share. Breakfast next to the pool each morning was a particular highlight and Joy was wonderfully accomodating with our visit around a wedding that we were attending. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a great base for visiting the local area.

Our 1 night stay with Gaby and Werner was just wonderful! We could have easily have stayed a few nights longer if time would have permitted. The B and B is located in a beautiful location, the house is nothing short of stunning, we really appreciated the history of the home and the fact Gaby and Werner were happy to explain the history of the home. The house is so warm, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We opted to enjoy the 3 course meal, wow, the quality of the food and wine was first class. We loved meeting Kiki the dog and the four cats, makes it so homely. The absolute best part for us was the conversations we enjoyed with Gaby and Werner, such kind and friendly people. We recommend this B and B, try to stay more than one night!
