Brilliant option for a base to explore this region. Emilie and Nicholas were fabulous hosts, the room and house were delightful - so tranquil and comfortable. It was lovely coming “home” to our room in the chateau after a busy day exploring the region. So much to do and see in this area. But waking up to a crisp October morning and having breakfast (all local produce - yum!) overlooking vineyards as far as the eye can see was surreal for us and quiet breathtaking. Best stay we’ve had so far in our 3 month Europe adventure.

The stay at Martine's was wonderful. The house is truly magnificent, carefully furnished, very clean, it is in a quiet location but full of natural beauty to explore. We were also able to take advantage of the beautiful pool that refreshed us after a very hot sunny day. Martine is an attentive and caring host and delighted us with a wonderful poolside breakfast! Thanks again, Martine, for your attention, next time we will extend our stay by a few days!

Very nice independent accommodation, with its own bathroom. The environment is really peaceful and Véronique is lovely. Breakfast is delicious. The accommodation is really quiet, 4 km from Saint Symphorien, lost in nature.

Le Refuge Cap Ferret is a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The deck and spa pool are nested in the garden and the location is an easy walk to shops. Downstairs offers a dbl bed while the upstairs loft offers a separate sleeping area with several twin beds. Great location and reasonably priced with a responsive host.

Aurelie is a very friendly and welcoming person, the bedding is excellent and the setting is beautiful, special mention to the breakfast with a very nice view of the pool on this sunny day, to be repeated soon.

Quiet stay with small terrace overlooking the garden. Quality apartment.

We had a wonderful stay with Joy and Alex (and Hero and Coco). From the lead up to the visit where Joy was incredibly helpful with directions to our arrival which was incredibly welcoming we were delighted with the lead up to our stay. The Pigonnier is set in a picturesque location and is a great size for a couple to share. Breakfast next to the pool each morning was a particular highlight and Joy was wonderfully accomodating with our visit around a wedding that we were attending. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a great base for visiting the local area.

We had a great time at Françoise and Eric! They took good care of us: good restaurant addresses, a very hearty and quality breakfast, heated pool. The place is ideal for relaxing and allows you to discover the area by bike or car. Don't hesitate to go!

AMAZING accommodation. First of all Laëtitia was very good advice in advance (when I had to find a restaurant in the area), then very welcoming on the day of our arrival and very nice throughout the stay. Then the place is just crazy. The place is impressive, the renovation is beautiful, the decoration is superb with lots of very nice details (vinyl records, guitars and musical instruments, skate park, etc.), the perfect bedding, the rooms are secluded and the breakfast is delicious. I recommend 1000%. It's an exceptional stopover in the area.

Maëlle was there as soon as we needed her and like a little mouse that we didn't see. we had a perfect cheese charcuterie board. very good value for money Beautiful accommodation, as well as amenities/bathtub/shower/bed/jacuzzi. Our stay in this beautiful historic and superbly renovated home went very well. Our host Sabine was very attentive to us, she was very attentive and ensured our comfort at her home. We would highly recommend her place and would happily stay there again.

Maureen welcomed us to her beautiful home practically as if she already knew us... Her house is very nice, the rooms are large and very clean, everything is well thought out at her place! The garden is beautiful, we were also able to enjoy the outdoors... Maureen even offered us an excellent dinner (we chose Indian) for an extremely small amount compared to the quality and time of work requested. A big plus with Maureen is that she loves animals, she took very good care of my little dog when I wasn't there, he was like a rooster in dough. 🤗 She has very good human qualities... Thank you for everything Maureen, for my part I know I'll come back to your place if only for the pleasure!

Small overnight stay during a 190 km bike trip. Philippe and Béatrice received us extremely well with a small welcome pot filled with kindness. The housing benefits are highly appreciated. We were able to enjoy a very nice little night jacuzzi. Breakfast was generous and excellent! 👍🏻

A beautiful break in a magical place in the middle of oaks and local plantations. The architect's house, built on the model of a Landes sheepfold with pine cladding and bordered by a swimming pool, is particularly welcoming and encourages idleness and contemplation. Nadine and Gilbert are very attentive, both discreet and considerate. A foot reflexology session provided by Nadine and a good restaurant address given by Gilbert punctuated our stay.
