Monthly Rentals in Los Cordovas

First time in Taos and couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay! This quaint little picturesque guest house met all of our needs. Actually loved there was no TV and instead had a large picture window with a gorgeous mountain view. Every guest review has mentioned the view, and for good reason. With essentially nothing between the guest house and the mountains, it was a very private and romantic stay. Would love to visit again if we are in the area.

Let me start by saying that before we even unpacked our bags we were contacting the Host to see about extending our stay. We fell in love with this home which has so many windows it's like a glass house tucked into the hillside, extremely private and absolutely silent. The only noise is the sound of birds and the delightful splash of the water feature which brings in the birds and wildlife. During our stay we were visited by rabbits, squirrels, coyotes, birds, birds, birds and I kid you not, a herd of elk. All of this wildlife along with the mountain and sky views is safely and comfortably viewed from the 3 sided glass room that extends into the backyard, my morning coffee/wildlife viewing perch. The home is larger that we expected, beautifully appointed and with everything you need. The well provisioned kitchen was much appreciated, we cooked a ton while here since we did not want to leave. All that Taos has to offer is close by, but still this place is zen and private. Cheers!

The owners were friendly and getting into the clean quiet house was easy…once we found it. Google maps just couldn’t seem to pinpoint it (which is not the fault of the owners). Try using Apple Maps for a better experience finding the house. Other than that it was great! Very clean and comfy with room enough for me, my wife, two teenage boys, and our German Shepherd. Also, city slickers beware, there is no central heat and air so plan accordingly! Overall we would happily stay here again!

I cannot give enough praise for this incredibly comfortable and peaceful spot. I greatly enjoyed my time by the river on the property. The birds were especially talkative in the mornings, and that combined with the sound of the water over the rocks was everything my soul needed. The accommodations had everything we could possibly need for a stay, including coffee beans and access to laundry machines. The attention to details did not go unnoticed. I especially appreciated the tiered tray on the bathroom counter for toiletry items. Lesley’s recommendations for food and hiking were excellent, and we hope to make a trip back to enjoy more of them. In fact, as we were loading up to leave, the owner gave us a tour of the other Airbnbs on the property which were equally as spectacular and would be great if staying with a family larger group.
