Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lompoc

This is our first time traveling to Arroyo Grande, just because of this house. My family has 4 adults, 1 kid, and 1 large dog. So I booked this house due to it is "pet friendly" and it has a pretty backyard according to the pictures. We fell in love with it immediately when we arrived it! The inside, front yard, and backyard were all contemporary style and designed professionally. All the electronics are modern and function very well. My husband enjoyed turning on the music and could hear it everywhere around the house. Cory prepared snacks, bowls, and blankets for the dog, so he could sleep in the house but away from furniture and carpet. My son and our dog run a lot in the backyard, and the whole family had a sweet night hanging outside as well. The local restaurants/coffee shops and shopping stores recommendation list is very helpful. We saved a lot of time on searching when we needed them. Overall, I feel it is worth every penny that I spend! I highly recommend it!

The property is amazing and the house had everything we needed. It was a great place to catch up with old friends we had not seen in a while!

My daughter and I had a wonderful long weekend girls get away in Los Olivos staying at Jeanne’s beautiful home. Close and easy walking distance to everything in town, yet private and quiet at home, the home had everything we needed and more. Extremely comfortable beds and linens! My daughter and I had a fabulous time and would definitely book this beautiful home again! Thank you!

I had an amazing stay with my family. I really appreciated that Kate, the co host, messaged us to see if we were doing ok and checking in. The living room space is quite spacious. We love their couches! It was so comfortable and relaxing to lay on. Beds were all comfortable. Had a few pillows to choose from. Me and my husband slept in the master. The bed is on the softer side but still very comfortable. I don’t normally sleep well when I travel and I got one the most rested sleep there. There were plenty of towels for everyone and more. The shower pressure was good and the water was nice and warm. The house was very clean. Loved the elephant decor. They have a great taste in music and enjoyed listening to a few of their albums. I appreciate that they put labels in the showers and on the step. They had a wonderful suggestions on where to go eat. I really feel like the hosts were really intentional in what they put in the house to make it feel like a home away from home.

Giving 5 stars because it’s technically as described. But don’t let the photos of the big house confuse you, or the fact it’s listed as “entire place” - this is not a private home experience. That big house in the photo is where the owners of the property live and when you use the hot tub, you’re looking into their kitchen. It’s a great house, top notch hot tub, cold plunge and sauna, but just know it’s not a solo experience, and you’ll have a great time. Very friendly people and great amenities.

This Air B and B was very thoughtfully maintained, and a great find! Sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. Great spot to stay if you plan to be out and about for the day!

David greeted us upon arrival and, after that, we had privacy in the two-story guest house...which is the size of many homes! The mattresses were so comfortable that my wife wants to know where to get one. The views are lovely, plenty of space for the 4 of us and 3 bathrooms! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again...

I had an amazing stay at Whitney's home! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect - a short drive to the stunning coastline I loved relaxing in the backyard, which was a peaceful oasis. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore San Luis Obispo.

We had a great time, perfect space for our group (13 people). Plus, we super appreciated the baby amenities they had available. The crib, changing table and high chair made my husband and I’s life a lot easier. They communicated well when we had to call with a time-sensitive question & answered on the AirBNB messenger in a timely matter.

Hillary’s place was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by incredible scenery. There were so many amazing wineries nearby, which made the whole experience even better. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back again soon!

We found this rental to be perfect for us. It is a great location that allows you to get to Los Olivas and Solvang waist by car or electric bike. The home itself is stunning, great kitchen, good beds, very clean and just felt homey. Host was attentive and kind and went over and above.

Jennifer is an extremely hospitable and generous host! She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and always with a friendly demeanor. We had a fantastic time at the Fantastical Cottage! Jennifer's place is truly magical and my wife was constantly thinking she was in a wonderland! Very much looking forward to returning some time very soon.

Diane and Mike’s place is like a private little paradise. It’s quiet and peaceful. The view of the sunrise from the bedroom window is nothing short of breathtaking. Nights are clearly visible and gorgeous. You can even occasionally see the rockets from Vandenberg SFB. 10 min from the beach and hundreds of trails. Diane & Mike are incredibly kind and generous, with homemade scones to greet arriving guests and sweet bowls of fresh fruits & veggies from the garden on my doorstep, like a secret garden fairy. Oh, and Bear!! What an absolute love he is! Being here is like winning the lottery. You’ll never want to leave. It’s an incredible thing to find the right match between a peaceful long-term stay and budding new friendships.

We absolutely loved staying at Nate’s yurt. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the outdoor kitchen was perfectly equipped, the compost toilet actually smelled nice (I was dreading this the most), the land is BEAUTIFUL, the animals were adorable, the hammock was comfy, the campfire was perfectly sized… did I mention that we loved staying at Nate’s? =) He was a perfect host and the eggs were delicious! It’s clear the space is maintained with love and care to detail that only comes when people are passionate about something. Nate and his partner have created a lovely space for people to come relax and enjoy — free to be whoever they want to be and relax away from the pressures of life to enjoy nature and good company. Definitely bring your groceries and earplugs (roosters are active). I hope I get to return soon! I might even bring my daughter next time. I know she’s love the petting zoo and short hike on the property.

This was probably the coziest little Airbnb I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect: an easy stroll right into Marsh St and downtown SLO. It was very private, with a charming little courtyard that I enjoyed sitting and reading in. The bed was very comfortable (I need to buy a set of those pillows). I slept very soundly here, and part of it may have been the overall ambience of calm created by the decor. The video instructions on how to find and enter the guest house was exactly what I needed. The prove was more than fair, considering how expensive accomodations can be in SLO. I usually pay for more for what is essentially a motel room in SLO. At Diana's, I got a place that I actually enjoyed hanging out in. I'll definitely try to book this one again when I return.

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

The place was great for my family and my furry friends. Beautiful outdoor spaces and the house had everything we needed.

Nice spot with a lot to do around it, super friendly people everywhere. House was nice and clean and it’s in a quiet neighborhood besides the airport.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Wine Country Cottage. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of Keurig coffee flavors. Two miniature donkeys, Jack and Henry have moved onto the property. You are greeted daily by them & Erin provided a bag of their favorite veggies. There is an orange tree that you are able to pick from for some fresh Vitamin C. The porch is our favorite spot, a peaceful and tranquil sitting area to listen to the small fountain’s running water. The firepit and porch string lights contrast the dark sky and allows for heavenly star gazing. Enjoy a cup of coffee listening to nature & watching the cows grazing in the fields. From the porch you may catch a view of a Space X rocket launched from the Vandenberg SFB. The property is a short drive to Solvang for the best Danish pastry treats and other great eateries. Wine Country Cottage is the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the uniqueness of Solvang and the surrounding wine country. Erin is a super host!

The Bee Cottage exceeded our hopes. It was delightfully quaint and so relaxing. It is perfectly situated in the valley to easily explore the many hidden treasures.

We had a great time and a comfortable stay at Jody’s place. It was very dog friendly and had tons of extras. Jody was super responsive and friendly. Thanks for the great NYE stay.

Rick’s house was spotlessly clean, attractive and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware, had any tool you could think of and gorgeous appliances. The neighborhood was quiet and private. This was our first visit to Santa Barbara and we were delighted to have such a lovely, home-y place to stay! Rick and Lynne provided lots of local information and were happy to make recommendations when we asked. Two adult couples stayed in the house, but we could tell that children would also be very happy in the house. Many, many thanks to Rick and Lynne for the use of their home and their help to make our visit a fabulous vacation!
