Cottage vacation rentals in Livorno

We stayed at this lovely cottage in late November and we were delighted with every aspect of the stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and was well equipped. The hot-tub was wonderful and sitting there on a chilly night with a view of SG was amazing. Annalisa and Davide were really nice and friendly and very helpful- great hosts. It was about 35 minutes to walk to the town, so quite walkable, and wonderfully quiet and rural (one morning there were 3 deer walking past the window). We had a very nice day out in Sienna which was easy to drive to. I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere really special.

2 Nights of Dreams! We were greeted by Niccolò, perfect in everything, he gave us many tips on both places to see and where to go to eat, we followed them all and we stayed with God! The very nice cottage, has everything you need even for longer stays, the view is wonderful ,and the hot tub is a treat , both day and night . They welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine and red petals, which was not at all obvious, everything was perfect , thank you very much Natasha and Niccolò 😊

The place was amazing with a magnificient view to the Mountains. Overall a great expierience there.. a quiet relaxin time at the AirBnB. Thank you again!

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

The house is very spacious and the garden is really very pleasant. The kitchen and the master bathroom (huge) are renovated. We really appreciated that the rooms were air conditioned especially since we were there in the hottest period. However, we were surprised to have to buy garbage bags, as there was only one for each trash can, except for the compost that had several. Same for toilet paper, there was just 1 per bathroom. The pool was very hot and the garden was very well-equipped. We had a crib for an additional charge of €10/day which was a little expensive. There were children's toys, but no high chair (good to know). You should know that the access is a little bumpy and that you have to open your eyes to see the bend for the path that leads to the house. It has the advantage of being very quiet and private.

La Chicca Blu is a true gem, offering everything you need for a serene and relaxing getaway. The garden and pool enjoy plenty of sunlight throughout the day, while the trees and awning provide perfect shaded spots when needed. Marzia, the host, is warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay while respecting your privacy. She is attentive but unobtrusive, allowing you to feel as if you're in your own private summer retreat. This is the ideal place for a peaceful escape in a beautiful setting.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

Nice and quiet place. Beautiful views of the hills .Lost of outdoor space and sweet distance sound of the church bell. Lovely place to get back too after a busy day elsewhere.

There is no need to use redundant words to say how much we enjoyed ourselves; it is evident that in Sandra's delightful little house everything has been arranged to make the stay of the guests as pleasant as possible. Cleanliness, amenities, location, parking space, tranquility of the area... and the list could go on and on; and then what about Sandra, a person of extraordinary radiance who welcomes her guests with a smile that is like a hug... thank you very much and congratulations, we hope to return!

Amazing cottage, more than what expected, Wendy is a fab host, the Cottage is super well equipped, nothing needed to be bought as was already there (dishwasher tablets, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, water and some food, slippers, …. And much more). Atmosphere is magical, just next to an amazing castle, one of the best well kept in Italy. If you are a foreigner you can feel part of a local Italian tiny village wothin minutes from your arrival :-) The village atmosphere is lovely, and the communication with Wendy was so easy and organized.

We, 2 couples a baby and a dog, enjoyed our week at this lovely location. After a quite rocky and adventurous road, the house is situated in the midst of the beautiful tuscan landscape with wine hills and olive trees. From the lovely pool which was only for us we enjoyed those lovely views. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a nice barbecue ourside. Florence is reachable within about 45 minutes by car and there are two little towns about 10-15 minutes away with big grocery stores, restaurants and gelaterias. Andrea and Gianni were super helpful, responsive and lovely hosts. We would highly recommend Le Spugne.

Antonella's cottage is a wonderful place, completely immersed in nature and with a beautiful view of Lake Vagli. Antonella was very hospitable and kind in providing us with directions to activities and restaurants nearby. We had a great time, we hope to be back soon!

It was a very nice place where we felt very much at home in the beautiful nature in a house where everything and more was present. A kitchen where nothing was missing and there were so many extra things that were so thoughtful in the kitchen and bathroom. Fabio and his wife are very welcoming. We have had a nice time. It was also a wonderful place for our dogs. We hope to come back again.

It was a very nice week in Tuscany despite the rather rainy weather. The house is wonderful, large, warm, with all the amenities. There is also a wonderful yard with a barbecue, which we did not get to enjoy much, but the fault is only the weather. But our parking place was very convenient. There is complete peace and quiet, it is very relaxing. The location is great - very close to the A11, in 1 hour you can get to Florence, 30-40 minutes to Pisa, 15-20 minutes to Lucca. And to countless other Tuscan beauties. Thank you to Graziella and Marco for the beautiful home, the wonderful welcome and the care they took for us!

The host is great and beyond accommodating. The garden and pool area are a dream, much more beautiful and better in real life than in the pictures. You can highly recommend this place. The small village is super cute with good gastronomy.

Located in a beautifully situated village, perfect for disconnecting and exploring the nature and cities of Lucca, Pisa ... Lorenzo is a great host, great at communication and very warm. The accommodation itself is top modern, just like in the pictures and complemented by a great, shared pool ideal for a vacation.

The cottage is wonderfully secluded in the woods with its own access road. We enjoyed the cottage, in which we seemed to go back in time and we were able to stay cozy. We explored the region extensively over the two weeks we stayed there. Amenities such as a supermarket, bakery, pizzeria and pharmacy can be found in the village. On foot, you'll be on the road for half an hour. A path through the forest existed when we were there (anymore). Because it is remote, you have to do everything by car and the forest path to it is less suitable for low cars or small cars with a small motorbike. The associated garden is large, is not fenced apart from the forest, and consists of terraces. We had some issues with wasps the first few days, but Irene responded right away and caught up with the issue. She was quick to respond to questions anyway.

We enjoyed the house in Torre, as the first house in Tuscany it was wonderful to arrive with attention and pampering of Stefania and her mother and father. Close to Lucca, a great base. A private parking space and privacy. The communication was very good. A house to enjoy outside with all those outdoor terraces. Thank you. It was very nice!

We had a relaxing stay in this beautiful place, lovingly and stylishly restored and furnished, at the same time everything worked perfectly, including the heating. Ciacomo and his parents (on site) were extremely polite, helpful, friendly and always very accessible. They value genuine hospitality, such as the fruit plate upon arrival. Overall, the accommodation is very well and generously equipped. You can walk easily over the hill to Lucca with picturesque views along the way. By car it is also very easy, parking around the city wall is cheap. Lots of good tips for restaurants and shopping. A place to feel good, thank you!

Very nice house. Perfect for a couple also with child Had very bad weather unfortunately. However, the house was very warm and well insulated, which is not a given in Italy. We will be happy to come back

The apartment is lovely and perfect for relaxing and enjoying some time away from city troubles. Vagli Sotto is a very tiny town, it is possible to go there by bus, but as there is a lot of nice things to do + no bigger place to shop food around, a car was very helpful. Also, do not book if you’re looking for some luxurious place - the apartment is very comfortable and has everything one needs, but the house itself is quite simple. Contrary to some old reviews, the neighborhood was not loud at all. Catia and Anna were very easy to reach via message and very kind + helpful in every matter. Thank you!!
