Esther was a fantastic host meeting us upon arrival and guiding us to her lovely home. Upon arrival she showed us around her home and gave us information on the local transport and recommendations on local bars and restaurants as well as how easy it was to get into Bilbao City centre via the Metro. Would definitely recommend this as an ideal place to stay for Bilbao. If you have a car it’s also very easy to visit San Sebastián for the day. Thank you so much Esther !!!

Izaskun's place is beautifully decorated and very clean. The person who maintains the accommodation is very nice; we had good exchanges with her and we thank her. The accommodation is on one level; it is located on the old port of Berméo in a beautiful setting. The small balcony is very enjoyable, especially at the end of the day to sit around a coffee or an aperitif. If you have a car, there is free parking on the old port or near the football stadium (about 10 minutes' walk from the accommodation). Bilbao is about 35 minutes from Berméo. It is possible to get there by train but the journey time is rather long (1 hour 20 minutes). By car, it's relatively easy to park in the underground parking lots, one of which is close to the Guggenheim Museum (a museum that must be visited). If you want to visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (free), remember to book on the website in advance because the number of people is limited and it is not specified anywhere!!

The apartment is simply very nice, modern and very clean. The location is fantastic, you can walk to the metro station in about 6 minutes, from there you can go in all directions. My recommendation, buy a "Barik Card", it costs 3 euros and can be topped up at the machine. With this card you can travel very cheaply by metro and buses. You only need one ticket for 2 people, which you scan when boarding the metro and bus. I would rent the apartment again. Thank you Natxo for the lovely stay.

It was an incredible stay at Leire's apartment. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. All the time we had a feeling that we were at our home rather than in a rental apartment, so that perfectly fits stay for longer term. Communication with the host was also prompt, nice and hassle-free.

Perfect accommodation, in the heart of this small beach town. We're right in the center, it's full of life (so a little noisy), but it immerses us in the Spanish atmosphere. Great!

The house is wonderful. Located in a very quiet area where you can rest. With nearby supermarkets, beach and mountain just a stone's throw away. A playground just few meters from the house... The house itself with its lawn area and its terrace where to spend good ratos de chat. Clean and spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds... even have some other toy for the little ones. The fully flexible check-in time and Ainhoa always pending and with excellent communication. We stayed for a weekend but I would definitely come back here without a doubt. The other couple who accompanied us think the same. We truly felt right at home. Finding places like this is a real taste. Thank you for everything, Ainhoa! We'll be back!

Both the house and the surroundings are perfect for a few days of disconnection, especially for families.

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

The house was much better than we imagined. The service was perfect and everything was very clean and prepared. The only thing I think could be improved is the check-out time: it's usually at 12 noon and so there's more time to clean, but in this case it was at 11.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Quiet location, but still close enough to the beaches, bars and restaurants. Large supermarket is less than 5 minutes away. The kitchen is very high quality and well equipped. We liked it very much.

A very nice apartment and everything was impeccable. Just entering, it has a great aroma. Full of details such as coffee and cookies for breakfast, shampoos, etc. highly recommended

Our stay was unbeatable. Located on the beach of Berria, (just 2 minutes from the walking sand), perfect for families who want to enjoy the beach or for surfers. The area is very quiet and noisy, but if you want more movement in 5 minutes you are in the center of Santoña where you have all kinds of services. The accommodation is equipped with all kinds of details, complete kitchen battery, internet, table rack and storage spaces. The beds are very comfortable. All super clean and well organized. Sandra is very good host, always attentive and available to make everything perfect and offering great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the area. You can tell he cares about every detail to make the experience unforgettable. I will definitely be back on my next trip, I recommend it 100%.

The apartment was super clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Very well located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants but zero noise. And the area, of course, is beautiful.

Amazing apartment in a wonderful location. A walkable distance to the beach and some amazing places to eat and drink nearby. Jesus and his wife were amazing hosts too & went above and beyond to help with our needs. This included helping me after spraining my ankle by arranging a friend to pick me up to take me to local medical centre & getting myself fixed up so I could attend the football final we had flown over for. I would highly recommend the apartment and I’ll definitely would be making a return visit one day.

Alejandro was a great host and the apartment was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, it is excellent value for money. The views from the balcony are amazing and the general location is beautiful.

Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!

This is a beautiful clean apartment where the bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms look newly upgraded. It has a balcony with room to sit at a table and a useat with pillows. It’s a pleasant walk to the beach. The host, Thamara, is as helpful and welcoming as possible. Castro-Urdiales is a wonderful destination for people looking for a quieter beach filled with happy families and older couples. Walk along the beach and pier and watch the fishing boats and rowers practicing for racing. Walk on the Camino Santiago along the cliffs and see the azure sea and green hills.
