Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Le Bugue

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Nous sommes arrivés, mes 2 fils et moi-même, à motos plus tôt que prévu et avons été tres bien accueillis par Odile. Les motos ont été garées dans le garage. Nous avons mangés le menu périgourdin préparé par Odile qui était excellent, quantité et qualité. Nous avons bien dormi, la literie est confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait lui aussi. We really enjoyed our stay. Christophe was very friendly and we enjoyed our visit with him on the terrace. A nice breakfast was provided that we really appreciated. We were able to park our motorcycle right in the enclosed yard. Thank you to Christophe and his wife for sharing their lovely space!

Emmanuelle est très sympathique et nous a mis à disposition sa salle de petits déjeuners pour dîner car beaucoup de restaurants étaient fermés. La chambre est très agréable et le petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux ( pain et croissants frais, brioche, fruits etc..) Une belle adresse , au calme, pour visiter les sites et villes environnantes.

Chambre propre. Hôte très accueillante et de bon conseil pour visiter les environs. Emplacement idéal à proximité immédiate de Sarlat tout en étant au calme. La piscine est un plus appréciable. Je recommande sans hésiter.

WOW. What a place! Our stay could not have been better. Granted the sun was shining all weekend which always makes things better but aside from that the property and surrounding area is breathtaking. We ate in the first night but then decided to eat in the restaurant the next two nights. The food was outstanding (thanks Able) and the service was exceptional (thanks Anna) A very kind and welcoming family that made our stay everything we had hoped for. Will definitely be back. P.s great for the kids. A huge garden for them to run around in, swimming pool, trampoline and slackline. Hours of entertainment.

très bel accueil chaleureux par Jocelyne. calme absolu et panorama magnifique de la chambre. Petit dejeuner généreux avec des confitures maison excellentes. Point de chute parfait pour visiter la région. On y retournera !

Le lieu est très agréable, nous étions très fatiguées et nous avons pu nous bien nous ressourcer. Le repas est de haute qualité, nous nous sommes régalées !!! Les hôtes sont vraiment très accueillants ce qui participe à notre super weekend

We were so thrilled to stay at Maison O'Galop. The views from the windows overlooking the river were breathtaking, and relaxing in the garden every evening watching the hot air balloons go by was a highlight. The cars going by were louder than expected, so bring ear plugs or a sound machine if that would bother you, especially if you want the windows open like we did. The house was spotless when we arrived, although it smelled musty, like no one had been there for a while. After a day of the windows being open, the smell disapated, but a few of us had some allergies because of that. It's an old place, so I imagine that's not unusual. The doors took some practice to lock and unlock. Maybe they are common French locks, but we are American and it took us a while to figure it out. The kitchen was stocked with tools (not food) we needed for cooking simple breakfasts and dinners, including a toaster and microwave oven. A dishwasher was also appreciated. Would love to come back!

Nice place to stay, the pool is clean and the room too

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place – a true gem for nature lovers! The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The host's communication was excellent from start to finish, always attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the highlight of our stay was when he showed us how he trains his horse – such a unique and special experience!

Très belle chambre sur une propriété calme. Kathy est une hôte attentionnée qui nous a bien reçus avec une très grande hospitalité. La chambre est bien décorée et les équipements fidèles à la description. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Petit déjeuner gourmand et varié. Toujours de bons conseils qui nous ont permis de découvrir des lieux insolites ou de bonnes adresses pour se restaurer, grâce à Phillipe aussi. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Annick et son mari sont particulièrement accueillants. Leur maison est une bulle de tranquillité, à 10 mn à pied de la cité. La chambre et salle de bains étaient très propres. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable ! Merci Annick pour les pâtisseries maison et la petite salade de fruits, une belle attention… Nous ne reviendrons, c’est sûr ! Ce fut une une belle rencontre !

Magnifique petit studio rénové dans une bâtisse en pierre disposant de tout le confort ! Catherine est très accueillante et le p’tit dej est extra 👌🏼. Plusieurs petites terrasses à votre disposition pour profiter d’un calme absolu !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mathilde et Martin. l'endroit est sublime, la maison très chaleureuse. Les espaces communs sont très très très agréables à vivre, on se sent presque dans la nature en cuisinant. L'immense table invite à de longues discussions avec les différents hôtes de la maison. C'est moderne, accueillant, apaisant, lumineux, convivial. Nous étions avec notre bébé d'un an. Elle a pu gambader partout en toute tranquillité. Tout était prévu pour accueillir des enfants. Merci ! Et ça a été une chouette rencontre avec Martin et Mathilde. Vous avez réussi à faire un très beau projet de cette maison, bravo ! Pour résumer : nous avons passé notre séjour à nous demander avec qui nous reviendrons passer une semaine ou deux. Nous avons tellement aimé que ça donne déjà envie de revenir ! À la revoyure !

Jane, Duncan and their son Lorne are amazing. So friendly and kind and so helpful. Helped with translations on the phone, were great to chat with but also give us our space. This place is a gem. One of the most beautiful views we’ve seen. Thanks so much!

Manuela et Manu sont des hôtes naturellement charmant qui savent accueillir dans les règles de l art, leur logement est un petit cocon au sein d une Corrèze chaleureuse, un très bon point de départ pour visiter le secteur ou pour se reposer dans cette oasis, ils connaissent le coin par cœur et sont d excellents conseils,

Our 1 night stay with Gaby and Werner was just wonderful! We could have easily have stayed a few nights longer if time would have permitted. The B and B is located in a beautiful location, the house is nothing short of stunning, we really appreciated the history of the home and the fact Gaby and Werner were happy to explain the history of the home. The house is so warm, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We opted to enjoy the 3 course meal, wow, the quality of the food and wine was first class. We loved meeting Kiki the dog and the four cats, makes it so homely. The absolute best part for us was the conversations we enjoyed with Gaby and Werner, such kind and friendly people. We recommend this B and B, try to stay more than one night!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le gite qu ils proposent, l espace piscine et cuisine extérieur nous ont permis de très bons moments de détente avec nos enfants. Christianne et Wilco sont aux petits soins et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils. Le gite est parfaitement situé pour visiter le Périgord noir. Un vrai havre de paix. Merci 🙏

We were welcomed by our hosts like members of the family. We were treated so kindly from the moment we arrived. We were hoping for a short quiet rest from a motor tour of France. We received a mini retreat, nothing was too much trouble and many things provided were above and beyond. I’m excited to return and visit Delphine and Geoff as they commence the next chapter at Maison Cistus.
