Stunningly beautiful and perfectly equipped villa. I would especially like to mention the views surrounding the house. One of the best places I have stayed in my life.

As per my first visit to Lucky Crane Villas on my birthday in November, this visit was again spectacular. The interior aesthetics of Monika's design, the total comfort, the thoughtfully created functionality in every space, the integration with surrounding nature and the views out the windows, the private garden, and so much more - all this adds up to a truly fabulous experience. Definitely have dinner at the "The Courtyard Bistro and Theater", and breafast at "51", both must-visit destinations in their own right. The houses were great. Well stocked kitchens made cooking easy. The braai area was perfect for pulling together the residents of the four house units. There is also a table under a tree for you to spread out easily in. There isn't a pool which meant for some hot days in the sun but we were pointed to a nearby dam where we could swim. Quick walk down to the main road, which was great for small stores, bars and restaurants. Host was very communicative over the app and on mobile platform.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Being able to walk in the olive orchard was lovely. The extra long beds were comfortable. the doors sealed well so we did not hear noise from the lounge or kitchen We enjoyed walks in surrounding nature reserves. we will be returning. Marianne

This was truly a piece of heaven! I didn't want to leave. If I weren't hosting an event in Cape Town - I wouldn't have left - and could have easily stayed for AT LEAST a week longer. The layout of the home was exquisite, very such clever design features everywhere. Such as the shutter doors that allow you to sleep feeling safe with fresh cool natural air blowing (even though it was warm in the days - it was cool at night), the beautiful bath with large window looking into the garden, the high ceilings in the living area - and I could go on and on. This place was a delight. I loved how peaceful and private it felt - looking out at the mountains across the garden, verandah, pool, deck and even an amazing sauna. Monika was so helpful, proactive, friendly and warm - and has built a place where you can feel nurtured, energized and peaceful. I can't recommend highly enough! I will be back many times!

On the farm close to the river and walking distance to olive rock wedding venue.

Le Chais was a fantastic house to stay in when doing the wine tours. It’s right beside the tram and safe to walk to lovely restaurants in Franschhoek. The house itself is way more spacious than in the photos and very interesting in its design. Brilliant accommodation . Very flexible about letting us leave the cars off early to go and do the wine tour. We loved it, thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marlicia’s beautiful property in Franschhoek. It was super clean, very well appointed and a great location to explore this wonderful area. Marlicia was a wonderful host. She gave us lots of great recommendations and provided a few nice surprises when we arrived. She made us feel right at home. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

We enjoyed a week of boating at Theewateorskloof staying at 58 Thee Bend. The views are great and the outdoor braai and deck are perfectly located. Also within walking distance of the club house. We had everything we needed and will definitely return.

The host was very responsive and helpful, the location of the house is beautiful and there is lots to do in the area. Beautifu sunsets.

Absolutely gorgeous place. It’s like living in an art gallery. The bedrooms are better than even the best hotel rooms - we don’t even know how the duvets are that fluffy. Penny was so great with early and late checkouts and the on site manager was amazing - sorting out any property niggles immediately. From a design perspective, it’s a bit odd that there’s little to “do” on the side with the views. There’s a patio with some outside furniture but there’s no shade in the afternoon and it could really benefit from something - a hot tub, or a splash pool to keep you enjoying the view while doing holiday things. Also, with it being a new build and considering the cost, I would expect the solar to cover more during load shedding than just essential lighting. Using it to heat the pool would make the pool far more usable. It’s the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in but on the whole I think it’s too expensive for a 3 bedroom, and a bit light on things like glassware.

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

Beautiful home with all necessary appliances. Well appointed bedrooms. Great outdoor covered patio. Plenty of room for a family get together. Thoroughly enjoyed being there. McGregor winery and tasting was excellent and extremely affordable. Great for children as they have a tasting plate for them with ice cream, grape juice and colouring in pictures and pencils.

This place is really amazing. It is value for money. The pictures are exactly what you will get and more. Lots of space as well as not to close to the neighbours. The place is extremely clean and well put together. A very beautiful venue to break away from the city or just have some time together with family or friends. The host is friendly and accommodating.

Such an amazing home, it honestly just a little private oasis. Highly recommended for a few days, not much to do in the close proximity but a great place to relax with friends and family.

Very nice and spacious villa, pool temperature was great (which is rarely the case in South Africa) and we were happy to use the heated tub as well. Beautiful garden area and views to the mountains. We also enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and comfy living room. Felt like home.
