Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). La Vieille Cure

LaViellie Cure in one of the oldest house in Franschhoek, built earlier than 1850 and declared National Monument in 1981. The cottage has its own private entrance and cozy courtyard with mountain view and pergolas at the front and back patios. The inside is characterised by a spacious open studio that retains the historical features with an added touch of modernity. Lavender Cottage is a modern three bedroom self catering cottage with three bedrooms, main ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the large rim flow pool. The pool is situated on it's own large terrace and is shared with Olive cottage. We are ideal for guests who enjoy wine tours, the outdoors, hiking and biking plus horse riding.

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Two rivers border the farm, the smaller Kastaiings river and the Franschhoek river. We are surrounded by mountains and boast exceptional views. Happy Valley is situated 5kms from Franschhoek and is a stroll away from the famous La Motte and Môreson vineyards. Our swimming pool is in a secluded spot by the river with ancient oaks offering shade.

This stunning second storey apartment has great views and has a fully equipped kitchen for guests (gas stove, microwave and fridge). Laundry washing machine available at R35 per load - liquid provided. You can lounge around, or visit the three wine farms bordering us (between 5 and 10min walks) as well as a great beer breweries. We are situated on the main road to Franschhoek - 5 min drive to the center of town.
