The Lookout

Although there is no direct road access, the views from the house are exceptional. Parking on Boyes Dr or Capri Rd. A modern, casual two-storey house in St James with panoramic views of False Bay. Enjoy close proximity to Danger Beach, surf spots and the St James & Dalebrook tidal pools. Walk from the house up the mountain or to Kalk Bay harbour, shops & restaurants - or stay at home and enjoy the pool, hot tub & fireplaces. It is private and secluded, ideal for those seeking a getaway.

The upstairs offers spectacular ocean views with a big open plan bathroom. Downstairs is the perfect setting for dinners around the dining table leading onto the open plan kitchen. The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Stylish and spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment with battery backup, perfectly located across the road from the world famous blue flag beach that is recognised as the best family surf beach in South Africa. Enjoy a glass of red wine at the elegant wood carved bar or just chill out in the comfortable luxurious lounge in front of a crackling fire. Sleeping arrangements are super spacious so you can stretch out and relax. There is an off street secure parking bay.

Comfort, Style & Security next to the Beach

My comfortable, tastefully-decorated & well-equipped apartment is located in a beach-front building at Muizenberg's famous Surfer's Corner. The building has excellent security; including finger-print access control and 24-hour concierges at the front entrance. There is a free private parking bay in the basement. The WiFi router has a dedicated UPS - so the WiFi works even when the electricity is off. Please note that the apartment does not have a sea view.

Marina Oasis near Beach and Mountains

A private and peaceful retreat right on the water with abundant birdlife and an occasional otter. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Freely explore the estuary by pedal boat and kayak right from the private deck or drive to the nearest beach (2.8km) or the famous Surfer's Corner (3.9km). Self-check in and secure parking right at the front door. Solar generation and 30 KWh power backup.

The Studio at the Stone House is a self-catering cottage, just 200m from the beach. It's tucked away behind one of Muizenberg's oldest houses (dating 1901) on a quiet road in the village. The studio is light and modern, especially equipped for your comfort and convenience. It's best feature is probably the large wind-free private patio for outdoor lounging and alfresco dining. AND we're solar-powered, so you have uninterrupted access to wifi!

This is the writer/artist retreat you dream about, or the secret romantic hideaway. Hidden in a ravine alongside a mountain stream, cloistered in forest, this simple eco-friendly wood and glass cabin stares out to sea. At its back stands the Table Mountain chain soaring into the sky. Raised on stilts and 100% off-grid it is surrounded by nature without another human structure in sight. The Hideaway is strictly for those who love the outdoors.

The Owl House - Mountainside bungalow, Muizenberg

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. This spacious, quirky apartment with an amazing view is on the top floor of a gracious mansion overlooking St James tidal pool. There are LOTS of steps so not suitable if you are unfit, elderly or overweight. Your own private entrance leads you into a perfectly equipped apartment. Lie in the comfortable king size bed in total privacy and spot the whales in False Bay. It is an easy walk to Muizenberg and Kalk Bay.
