The location is amazing and you can walk to all the best restaurants in town. The apartment is so cozy and homely I could live there! There’s everything you need and more. I would definitely book again when traveling to Franschoek.

A lovely flat in an excellent spot in the beautiful town of Franschhoek. The place was spotless and very convenient.

Myself and my partner had a great stay Krystyna's place. She was very friendly and gave some great advise for things to do in the area. The national park is only a few minutes drive away and had plenty of hiking and biking trails. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very private and comfortable. The coffee machine was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Swellendam.

Communication was very good before and during our stay, and Jan was very helpful and caring all the time. Thank you for the best service, flowers, vine and even Christmas gifts. We had a lovely stay at Marisa’s place after a long day of packing and moving house! Marisa was super responsive and welcoming and accommodated us so well with secure parking for our 2 fully loaded cars! A clean space with everything you need! Thanks Marisa for a great stay, we had such a peaceful night!

What a wonderful little apartment. It had everything (and more) we needed. Located in the heart of Franschhoek, it was very easy to walk around and find what we need. We loved staying there!

We spent 3 nights at this fabulous apartment. Everything was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the thoughtful touches around the apartment and having a gas bbq on the patio was a bonus. There are many restaurants and wineries close to town so there is no lack of things to do, our time went by much too quickly and we would love to come back. Thanks for a great stay! Susan & Blair

I was very happy with my stay at The Old School. I found it very peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful wildness on the edge of a Nature Reserve. The village of McGregor provided good food and service. It was lovely meeting Amelia and I found her very easy to talk to.

We had an awesome stay, Susan is such a great host, we stayed in this lovely cottage, were greeted by an owl, had lovely breakfast on the terrace and just had an overall great expereince to calm down and relax.

This place is such a lovely place, tastefully decorated! What you see in the pictures is exactly what you find if not more in that lovely home. The place is serene and , the views are stunning, the helper is on time and efficient. Such a fresh and clean beautiful place- in short it is heavenly.

We loved our stay. the setting is amazing and the accomodation was spot on. Really enjoyed having two areas to relax outside - one close to the fire pit and one at the front of the cottage. All the essentials you need are there and the views are beautiful.

My wife and I had a fantastic time in Franschoek and were so glad we chose Marlicia’s place as our home base. From using the pizza oven, to even gifting us tomatoes grown in her own garden, Marlicia made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Definitely coming back with more people soon!

Spacious, tranquil and well equipped haven in the beautiful Swellendam. Very comfy sleep! In winter this place will be wonderful with its wood burning fireplace. Private and lovely! Great hosts - Lariez and Jenkins!

We really had a relaxing and comfortable stay on the farm. We experienced all sorts of weather from really hot days to stormy chilly nights but through it all we were comfortable at the cottage. We walked the farm roads flat, inspected interesting fynbos, and really just soaked in the views. Sunrises and sunsets were something to write home about, so spectacular. Montague is a short drive away and Barrydale not to far either. Danielle and fam were very welcoming and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this cottage.

Lovely spacious and well appointed apartment. The location is excellent. Ivan is accommodating to your requirements, and Wellington was very helpful, friendly and professional.

Danielle was an incredible host. Her place is beautiful and secluded, you really feel like you’re out of the city. The mountain views are breathtaking and there’s so much walking you can do. Danielle was quick to respond and very accommodating even when we had a bit of loadshedding. She’s incredible and I recommend this place. It’s clean, it’s homey. It’s beautiful and the kitchen is stocked with most things you would need.

We stayed for 1 night at Ivan's apartment. You are right in the center and can walk easily everywhere in town. The balcony is looking out to the main street to watch the people. The pool was a nice addition but we weren't able to take advantage of it. What we didn't notice during the booking is that the upstairs bedroom is not closed of from the living area downstairs. Just be aware of that. Would stay here again.

A nice little cottage located on a private estate/road. The cottage is a 10 minute drive/Uber away from the Tram Station or the main street in town. It’s adequate and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. One usually spends the day drinking wine on different estates. The host is responsive and provides helpful instructions and information. The only negative about the location - wifi and network in general was not so great. However, we highly recommend the place.
