Limited solar power is supplemented by battery, and propane lights. Furnace and oven/stove are propane. There is an outhouse, a grill, fire pit and indoor wood stove. We supply firewood and water for washing dishes and hands (hooked to a spigot). Hike or snowshoe 20 acres of onsite trails or nearby SHT and state parks.

All the furniture was updated in 2018. The Log Cabin is located just outside of the main camp, settled on top of a hill overlooking pristine forest habitat. Nearby towns offer additional entertainment or relax in our quiet setting while reading a good book in front of the stone fireplace.

You will need to be very physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a sun a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.
