An absolutely amazing place to stay! We were after somewhere to relax and this was perfect. The property had plenty of space for all of us to spread out, was very comfortable and the view was stunning! We wish we'd had longer to explore some of the recommended local attractions and will definitely return if in the area again.

“The Bunk House” on Lake Amnicon. Pet Friendly!

The Bunkhouse exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, relaxing, and clean. We enjoyed being right on the lake, walking in the woods, a warm campfire, and the sauna! The internet allowed us to stream a Lynx basketball game, the porch offered quiet reading space, and the pullout sofa afforded restful sleep. Our old dog loved the calm outdoors and “Back 40”. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our time at this Air BnB. The hosts were very responsive and had lots of extras (kitchen supplies, extra blankets and towels) It’s walkable to Duluth’s downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. They gave us local recommendations as we traveled with a three year old and eleven month old. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second year at this place. We've been very happy with it. Lots of room, very clean, well-stocked, everything works. Nice location - a bit secluded, but still close enough to Canal Park, etc. We've used it as a base for birding at Sax-Zim Bog. Good communications with Amanda. Can't think of any drawbacks. We would definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was so cute and cozy and was exceptionally clean! our family had a lovely family gathering here. with grandparents, fathers, mothers, kids ranging from 9-3, uncles and aunts it was a perfect place to fit us all! plenty of amenities for our meal time and bath and bed time. the location can not be beat if your looking to enjoy all duluth has to offer! even though it was cold (march weather) we enjoyed lake superior beach right out the back door, and easily walked to canal park.

We came to visit our son and take in a Bulldog hockey game over the weekend. The view of the lake from the living room sliding glass doors was lovely. It also snowed a great deal while we were there, and it was like being in a winter wonderland. The condo was clean and well appointed. The beds were SUPER comfy! We will be back!

First and most importantly, the house was incredibly clean. All the listed amenities were available and in working condition. A couple bonuses we particularly appreciated: They provided games and children’s books. The kitchen knives were actually decently sharp. This may seem silly but if you’ve cooked at many airbnbs you know how frustrating it is to use terrible knives. There is very nice off street parking in the alley. Overall it was a perfect stay.

It was really the best few nights I ever had with an Airbnb others were kinda small and not really clean something I wouldn’t want to live in but this Airbnb was so nice and clean my family really liked it so did I and I hope who ever gets it next really enjoys it too

Had a great stay. Really enjoyed kayaking, reading by the water, and grilling. Tammy and John left us with a bottle of wine which was a really sweet gesture. Would not advise booking this place to be near Duluth (about a 40 minute drive) like we did, as we did not get to spend as much time enjoying the cabin as we would have liked. Hoping to vacation here again in the near future in order to fully enjoy all the cabin has to offer!

Lisa was a great Host from the start. My Family and I needed an earlier check in so we could get too my Daughters Dance Competition in Duluth and she made it happen and responded very quickly. The place was very clean and felt at home. My family and I will definitely be keeping this place on the list to return too. I definitely recommend this place to stay.
