Was a nice place to stay for a couple days.

Had a wonderful, peaceful visit. The location is absolutely amazing. The lake and Tubbs Hill almost right out the door. I can’t say enough about the location! The bed was SO comfortable, and I slept like a log.

We stayed w/ Ben & his family on the last night of a 10-day trip. It was a little out of the way, but it was definitely worth it. The great: communication, his family (his kids are awesome little humans, & his wife is super sweet), views, wildlife/birdsong, peaceful morning, their very loving dogs, the option to use their hot tub (it was exceptionally warm, so...didn't happen. But it could have!), décor/lodging, baby GOATS! (Okay, I really like animals.) If you're really into your fitness routine, staying here would NOT throw you off your routine. The not so great: Really, there isn't anything I can complain about. The bed *was* a bit firm for me, but I knew that was a likelihood going into it. My husband loved it. He slept in a little. I was up super early and explored their grounds. Tip: Get up early for the wildlife/birdsong. It was definitely worth it.

I can't say enough about our unforgettable stay at this private riverfront property. From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by the experience. The location is nothing short of magical. Nestled alongside the tranquil river, this property offers a sense of seclusion and serenity that's hard to find anywhere else. The views are breathtaking, with the river meandering gracefully through the landscape, and the surrounding nature adding to the overall charm. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Every corner of the house and the surrounding area was spotless. You could tell that the hosts take great pride in maintaining this gem of a place. We felt instantly comfortable and at ease.

Had a great stay in Coeur d’Alene at Lindsey’s Place. Walked through the park to downtown for dinner one evening. Very nice place to stay.

Loved our stay. Great location, walking distance to everything in town, but just far enough to escape. Very private. Directions for finding it and check in were easy to follow. Sitting on the deck surrounded by branches and leaves really felt like we were in the trees. The house was a cozy hangout with comfy furniture, record player, and fireplace (electric).

Ten out of five stars! It felt like staying in a 5-star hotel but surrounded by the beauty of nature as opposed to highways. This stay was everything we needed and so much more. We were visiting from CA for a wedding in Colbert and just wanted a relaxing place to stay. However, we saw the wildlife sanctuary nearby and spent some time feeding the tigers and bears. We visited the Spokane Fish Hatchery one day and went fishing another. This location was unexpectedly very close to so many fun things to do. Then, when we wanted to wind down, sitting on the patio overlooking the river was everything. Highly recommend!

It was an absolutely fun stay! The place was very clean, and it honestly exceeded expectations. A very cute place for a date night with my partner, what with the fantastic hot tub and a gem of a kitchen. Will definitely be booking here again soon!

Great place, very beautiful. The amenities in the backyard are top-notch. Short 20 minute drive to Coeur d’Alene. I would stay here again.

BEST VACATION EVER. Beautiful incredible space: private, scenic, luxury, amazing decor, etc. And then the hosts went ABOVE AND BEYOND in every way you could possibly imagine. Literally I had such an amazing time that i forgot my own purse. They mailed it back to me immediately went above and beyond with communication, care, kindness, and everything. Such an amazing combo of absolute kindness, incredible space, and making everything so incredibly easy. I could not be more impressed by any aspect of this insanely beauttiful retreat. 10 / 10 would stay again. Never been more impressed and I am speaking as a frequent traveler.

We came on a Friday, left on a Monday, and the purpose of our trip was that 3 out of the 4 of us wanted to goto Silverwood. This turned out to be a perfect place to stay for us. Just 15 min from Silverwood, on a private road, with a couple of wild turkeys and a couple families of deer making visits. Very quiet, very peaceful. We ate out so we didn't cook there but appreciated the coffee and keurig. Everything was clean, plenty of plates and cups and towels. good communication. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect! Cozy and quiet - we felt right at home. The neighborhood was very walkable with lots to do nearby!

This was my fourth stay at Mike's and Hilary's. Read my past reviews because I focus on a couple of the wonders of this place in each review. Mike and Hilary are constantly improving and adding nice things to this property. Each time I stay I discover two or three new wonders that I had not noticed before. This time it was the wooden coat/clothes racks in the entry and bedroom. They are beautiful and fun to use. Also, I discovered in the very well-supplied kitchen, a hot/cold tall beverage cup. I made chamomile tea and poured it into this cup. My tea was hot three hours later. I took it to my granddaughter's club volleyball tournament and loved it! My son and I shared an Original Combo at River City Pizza located a block down the street. Yum! Already made my next reservation at Mike's and Hilary's!

This was the perfect location, we were able to walk to shops restaurants , hiking trails and the lake. The home was spacious, super clean, and so well thought out. With all your needs and more! We loved the smell of the basil hand soap, so order some when we returned home. Would definitely stay again!

Julie's place is one of our very favorite places to stay! We have stayed several time over the past few years and look forward to our next visit! The property is always clean, well stocked and has the best little personal touches. We appreciate its out of town location which is perfect for a walk or star gazing at night. The property is peaceful and quiet. We love that the kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal in, it has nice linens and laundry in the unit. Kristen is a great host. She was always very responsive and friendly, she accommodated us when we had unexpected needs, and she had the place very clean and ready, and left very clear and simple instructions for check in, check out, etc.

I recently had the pleasure of spending two weeks at Hayden Hideaway, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay. From the moment I arrived, Lesa and Brian went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made this a home away from home. The property itself is an absolute gem—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed to provide the perfect escape. Lesa and Brian are exceptional hosts—attentive yet respectful of privacy, always available to offer local recommendations or ensure everything was just right. Their passion for creating a wonderful guest experience shines through in every detail. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming retreat with incredible hosts, Hayden Hideaway is the place to be. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I can’t wait to return in April!

We spent an extended holiday break at Elaine's place - 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year's. Everything was perfect, and they even went to the extra trouble of putting up a small tree and left some Christmas decorations for us to use and brought by some Christmas goodies. Greg and Elaine were very friendly and provided us everything and more for our stay. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed. We are pretty critical about cleanliness, but they knocked it out of the park - everything was perfect! If the opportunity arises, we would love to stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your guest house with us!
