Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.

With walking trails in which you'll see deer, rabbits, roadrunners, and some wonderful farm animals right outside the cabin, you'll fall in love with this unique Del Rio experience! Clean and private 10x16 camping cabin on 34 acres just off highway 118. Fifteen minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance. Tranquil setting that features 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, easy access, Dark Sky designation, a large fire pit and sweet solitude. Just far enough from Terlingua to avoid the heavy crowds, but close enough for convenience. There is a small store (Little Burro) less than a mile from the cabin that many locals use.

Welcome to the Desert Dome! We are located in small village of Chaparral, NM. This is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life while still having all the city amenities close by. You can find lots of hiking and biking trails in the area. We love furry friends, and would be happy to have your pets here too. There is a fenced in back area for their use. All pets must be leashed if not in the fenced area.

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay on my sailboat "Delirio" ( 28 ft) anchored in secluded Bahia Concepción. The ocean waves will rock you to sleep while you enjoy the beautiful night sky. The morning sun will wake you up just in time, if you are lucky, to catch a glimpse of the curious dolphins swimming by the bay. It truly is an experience like no other! But if you’re less adventurous, ask me for options.
