Luxury rentals in La Joya

Onda is a truly wonderful home and location. We stayed with our 4 kids (ages 10 and under) and two grandmas and it was an absolute perfect house for our family. The beachfront is very swimmable. We rented dune buggies for the whole week and used them as our mode of transportation to fun adventures nearby - from Cabo Pulmo (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to Los Barilles for lunch and a ride up the arroyo to a beautiful waterfall. The house is very well stocked and nicely decorated. Mitzi (house manager) and the chefs were super helpful and made our stay extra special. She arranged for horseback riding right from the house and massages at the house. La Rivera is still a very small town with just a few restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed our rides through town and grabbing lunch at Efren’s restaurant. If you want a fancier touch, the Four Seasons is less than 10 minutes from the house and Mitzi can arrange for reservations at one of their restaurants. We hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was stunning, and exactly as described and even more! The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect—peaceful, and close to beachfront dining options. We especially appreciated the staff taking care of the property, their flexibility in accommodating us with our meals, especially as one person in our group had restrictive diet. This is hands down the most beautiful stay I have ever seen. Highly recommend to stay here if you are coming the area.
