Vacation rentals with a fire pit in La Alpujarra

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. From the moment we arrived everything was smooth, flexible check in and clear friendly communication made us feel welcome. The villa itself is spacious, spotless, well equipped, with plenty of room to relax both inside and out. The outdoor space is special, peaceful, with stunning views of the mountains and sea. Sitting on the terrace, sharing meals and chatting in such a marvelous setting, was a real highlight for all of us. Antonio and Ana, who look after the property were fantastic, warm, helpful, made sure everything was right. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, with a great personality making the whole process so easy. One of the biggest bonuses was how accessible the villa is. It’s so hard to find genuinely wheelchair friendly places, this one was brilliant thoughtfully set up and easy to navigate. We had an amazing time and would absolutely love to return. Highly Recommend!

The apartment is located right next to the ski lift which takes you to the centre of town. The apartment itself is modern clean & provides everything you need for a short stay. The views are stunning from the balcony, especially for sunset. Most importantly the apartment was quiet as you do not have apartments above or below, which was very important to us. Monica was also extremely helpful. :)

We had such a fantastic time at the villa and its wonderful location. The villa was perfect and had everything we needed and would definitely visit again! Hans responded to any questions we had. A barrier of some sort as you exit the drive would reduce anxiety when leaving the villa, but otherwise the views were spectacular!

The house is very nice and the best is the views. It is well equipped and communication with the hosts was very good.

The very kind owner is always attentive to everything. The house just like the pictures spacious comfortable and beautiful I don't have any complaints we loved it. Also very close to the beach, the beach is behind the literal urbanization. You can also walk for a boulevard where there are several restaurants, very comfortable, it is also a 2in from Almeria and close to Cabo de gata and its villages about 30-40min we found the recommended location great. The villa has absolutely stunning views of the bay. A car is essential especially if you have children with you. The villa is in need of updating/replacing in areas (shower screens, parasols, kettle ) which didn’t detract from our brilliant stay but are small things that would enhance the experience and initial thoughts of the villa given it is in the “luxury” price bracket. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and communication over all

We stayed at Tom and Carmen’s for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have dreamed up a more magical place to mark the occasion. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped back in time — the house is steeped in history but also clearly infused with Tom and Carmen’s artistic vision and care. You can feel how much love and thought has gone into making this house a home. There’s an almost otherworldly ambience here — we found it hard to tear ourselves away because we were so content discovering the little nooks and corners of the house. The steam room was a wonderful luxury, and on our second morning, we were gleefully woken up by a shepherd and his flock in the meadow just outside — including a newborn lamb nursing right in front of us! This house and town captured our hearts. It was the perfect place to begin our marriage, and we found ourselves fantasizing daily about moving to Atalbeitar full time.

Since we have known Almuñécar very well for a long time, we were captivated by the great view of the city. The view is fantastic and even more beautiful than in the photos. The beautiful, renovated apartment has a huge sun terrace, an outdoor shower for cooling off, is quietly located in a very well-maintained complex and is functionally equipped. There was always a spot available at the pool, but most of the time we enjoyed the view. Silvana welcomed us extremely warmly and was always available to us. We look forward to the next vacation in Almuñécar.

Functional, bright, pleasant apartment to live in for 5 with spaces for everyone. Well-equipped. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach on foot as well as by car the possibility of visits (Cabo del Gato, Tabernas desert, white villages, and beaches: Monsul...). Very happy with our stay. We recommend it.

The stay was great, the place is wonderful, clean, spacious. Bedding and towels for snow white, towels large, quality, white. Whole apartment smelly. Feeling like you're at home. The kitchen has everything you need. Can cook as much as you like, there are a lot of dishes. The bedroom is spacious, the bed is wide, the mattress is quality, not laid out. The host really loves his guests and wants them to feel good. The area is nurtured, green, tidy, safe, calm, no sounds. Through the windows you can see the golf fields and the sea. Amazing terrace to the south side, we were very lucky as we were able to eat in it and enjoy the sunshine in the winter. I recommend it to anyone and especially those with children as there is a great playground. I appreciate the host for loving his guests and making them feel like home.

Had a wonderful stay, Marianne is a super super host ! Friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a stay at rambla retreats, it’s located in beautiful surroundings and has everything you need for a very relaxing holiday. We will definitely revisit.

We had a great stay. Robert was an excellent host — communication was clear and detailed. He sent lots of helpful information before we arrived and made check-in very easy. The apartment was clean, well furnished, and had an amazing view of the coastline. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious and very pleasant accommodation, very pleasant pool area as well, everything you need available, possibility to park in front of the house, very responsive host with clear directions on our arrival, outside Granada but only 15 minutes away. We only stayed 2 days but a small downside that is in no way the responsibility of the host but which is a little unpleasant is the insistent barking of a neighboring dog, maybe we were unlucky 😅
