Cottage vacation rentals in La Alpujarra

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Amazing place,terrace with extraordinary views

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

A lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. we were very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the tomatoes from Juan Antonio's garden were absolutely delicious. The pool was perfect for the kids and it was so peaceful. Great bar nearby in Restabal. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

Loli's accommodation is just as described, a place with very cozy rooms for a few days of rest. The terraces are amazing, not to mention the spectacular Jacuzzi that we enjoyed very much. Thank you very much Loli for your kindness and flexibility with the entrance to your accommodation. It was a few days of absolute disconnection, highly recommended. My girl loved the jacuzzi.

We just spent a few wonderful days in this house and everything was perfect. The house is impeccable, very well equipped, and in a quiet environment that allowed us to completely disconnect. In addition, I want to highlight the kindness and attention of Pablo, the owner. From the first moment, he was very attentive and always willing to help with any questions or needs we had. He made us feel right at home. Definitely an option I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rest and enjoy. We'll be back for sure!"

Our stay at Cortijo los Chinos was wonderful and very relaxing.

We, my brother and I, were in Guadix for cycling. The place was suitable for us as it has two full bedrooms and is located on a lockable property. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. All the offered features were present and available for use.

The place is really wonderful if what you are looking for, is to disconnect and spend a few days connecting with nature and tranquility, the casita has everything you need to spend an unforgettable stay, we will return in summer to enjoy the pool that is fantastic. friendly and attentive host!

I cannot recommend Catalina as a host, highly enough. Her place is spotless, beautifully, decorated, and practical. It has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the living room , to the bedroom. It is a peaceful, beautiful, serene place to stay So much so that I often did not want to leave it. Catalina is extremely responsive as a host and anticipates all of your needs. As a host myself, I appreciate all of her efforts and recommend her place very highly.

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cortes. We were lucky that we were the only ones so we had the whole venue for ourselves. The house has thick walls so that means that it is cool inside. Also it is up on a hill which makes temperature nice during hot summer days. The house is in a quite residential area nearby Padul. You definitely need a car to go around. There is a Spar supermarket nearby. Padul is a small town in the province with some shops, bars and restaurants. Nice to have your coffee there in the morning. Cortes reacts very fast and comes up with suggestions in Granada or other places. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Granada this is your place to be!

It was a pleasure to stay at Antonio and Maribel's house. Everything is perfect and the place couldn't be better. Spectacular views of Sierra Nevada. A terrace that invites you to relax watching the sunset over Güejar Sierra. The house has everything, nothing is missing. And both Antonio and Maribel have been excellent hosts, always making sure that nothing is missing. Totally recommended, come on, I'm sure I'll be back.

the house has everything you can need, it is so beautiful and has so many details, very cozy. the beds and pillows very comfortable and for me they smelled super rich .. the garden makes you cool, it is full of trees and floral plants and you have a lot of privacy, the pool is super nice and full of hamakas... at night you can see super well from there the stars.... in the kitchen everything you can need, you have it. Air conditioning in all rooms in case it is very hot and you are about 15_20 minutes walk from the supermarket bars .... of everything there is in the village. would repeat it very safely and would recommend it 100% thank you very much Carmen and Anaís for welcoming us into your home and treating us so well💙💙

I am almost a professional traveler, and just before coming to that place I thought: that’s it, only hotels in future . And then that: wow. What a beautiful place, what a wonderful goal in life: revitalizing a whole village, a lost village. And how: an amazing restaurant, friendly people, a place you do not feel as at home, you are at home. Decades of traveling till you find a perfect space, thanks for that. It was a real pleasure and an experience for real travelers, far away from the hotel bunkers and overloaded beaches and cities. Lovely place private location with a beautiful view on the mountains

Everything was perfect! The road to the house is a litte bumpy, but that is totally normal for houses in the andalusian mountains! The view from the house is stunning. On one side you can see Frigiliana and on the other side a little climpse of the sea. It is a quick drive to both Frigiliana and Nerja. The garden us beautiful with many seating areas and a great pool! The house was very clean and had all the ammenities you may need. The air conditioning was also very helpful to cool down the house. The communication was great and simple. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitly return. Can totally recommend.
