七本松ノ壱 ICHI

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at this authentic and beautifully maintained Airbnb in Kyoto. It was perfect for two couples, with clean, separate bedrooms and all amenities thoughtfully provided. The traditional design added to the charm, and the washing machine was a helpful bonus. The only small downside was that the kitchen and dining area on the lower level were a bit dark, but overall, it was a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and clean house! The neighborhood is quiet and decent, making it a great option if you're driving and exploring in Kyoto. The host was very helpful—they speak excellent English and Chinese, which made the check-in process smooth and easy. The house itself is spacious, with two floors, three bedrooms, and one bathroom. It was perfect for us, and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings.

Traditional Japanese style house!!

TaniaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We spent 3 nights in Kyoto with our family of four. The small house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and within walking distance from the imperial gardens, the Gion neighbourhood, the river and a huge shopping arcade. We appreciated the quietness after the busy “must see” places in Kyoto. The house is small but has everything needed for 4 😊

CieleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
it's far from the places in our Itenerary but I give it 5star because the host is very responsive, the place is clean, cozy & peaceful, the train station is walkable (if youl like walking), the neighborhood is very friendly. We stayed here for 5days, at first it feels like the station is far especially we are carrying our luggages but after the 2nd and 3rd day, walking feels good. This is our first time in an AirBnb in Japan, we usually stay at a hotel so i could say it super exceeded my expectations in staying in an AirBnb in Japan. The host also provided free toiletries & others like towel, toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo w/ conditioner & body wash, coffee & tea, pods for laundry wash etc. They have also Fridge, mucrowave, electric tea pot, your own washing machine, vacuum, heater, aircon, free use if umbrella and many more. Just make sure you read and follow the house rules for smooth and peaceful stay.

Atoo is the best host I have ever met. He used to live in Beijing and talked to us a lot about the past. We were very happy ~ And Atoo took the initiative to change us to a room with a better view and said repeatedly that he hoped we would have fun. Meeting Atoo is a very happy thing. It makes us feel at home. I hope I can stay here again next time I go to Kobe ~

Kamo Riverside Terrace Kyoto Gion 京都鴨川 祇園 桜-Flat B

If you’re looking for a convenient place to stay in Kyoto close to lively life, Ken’s place is perfect. The entry is on a beautiful tree lined street on a canal surrounded by restaurants and bars and in the back the deck over looks the Kami River and biking/walking path. The apartments quiet. Wonderful amenities if you want to cook or do laundry. The apt., although well equipped with everything you may need as if you were at home, is a bit tight in the entry, kitchen, bath and toilet area. Not a big deal if you don’t mind beautiful aesthetics. It’s nothing glamorous but who needs that when you’re traveling. You should be outside most of the time! You can pay a fortune and stay at a hotel or be extremely comfortable at Ken’s place. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we ever come back to Kyoto! And worth mentioning…. Ken is a wonderful host and he was quick to respond and give thoughtful suggestions.

It was so much fun staying here, easily accommodated 6 people, not a ton of privacy but we decided it would be like a sleepover with a touch of Japanese culture. The place has a good amount of space, kitchen is very nice, big fridge, and good sized shower room and separate bathroom (restaurant style bathroom, two stall toilets and two wall urinals, but it served its purpose well, it was kinda fun). Lots of places to shop and eat at nearby make sure to explore on foot. A few train stations within easy walking distance too. Don’t forget to schedule a matcha tea session with the host in the tea room!

This time, I went to Kansai with my friends, stayed at Xiaodai's house for three nights, it was really great, the elegant Japanese tatami villa, the interior is also beautiful, the living inside is very comfortable, the villa is located in the rich part of Kyoto, the environment is very good, although it is not in the center of the city, the amenities are very good, the subway and convenience stores are within a very short walk. And then, Sister Dai is really super nice!Very enthusiastic. He answered all kinds of questions on WeChat before checking in. He drove to Kyoto to pick us up at Yamashina Station on the day of arriving, and then gave us a detailed introduction of how to play in Kyoto. How to take a car, let us contact her on WeChat at any time when we encounter problems. The last night also took out a treasure of wine. It made me feel like a host, but a good friend who has been hosting me in Japan for many years.
The living area features a modern sofa with accent pillows, complemented by a glass coffee table. Cozy seating is provided by two woven chairs, with a view of expansive green fields visible through large windows.

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.
