Waterfront vacation rentals in Kyoto

We stayed here as a family with a toddler and a baby, and it was perfect. Amenities were exactly what we needed and the space helped us to spread out more. There’s some good food within walking distance. It’s a quiet area and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was the perfect size for 4 adults. The extra toilet and sink were great. We all enjoyed the tub at least once during our staying in Kyoto. Apartment was impeccably clean and spacious. 10-15 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Neighborhood was quiet. A couple of restaurants options and a coffee shop nearby but plenty of options a short metro ride away. I would stay here again on a return trip to Kyoto.

Miwako met us at the door, infinitely better than the automated system at the next place that felt like an escape room. She helped with an unusual request but undoubtedly one of the highlights of our whole visit to Japan was the sushi night - my only regret was that I could not speak Japanese to communicate better.

Great location in a quite neighborhood. The hosts provided us a stroller which helped us a lot and the apartment was really clean and comfortable. Recommended!

It was a great stay! Beautiful view from the window, but it is obstructed by an electric pole. A bit dark to go up our room during night time, but it was safe!

Sumi was the best host I’ve ever had. So warm and friendly. Always willing to help with everything! She even drove us to the train station. The location was perfect and so many things to see nearby. The apartment was also spacious. Thank you Sumi! You are one of a kind. We really loved our stay!

Lovely apartment, well located - central, but not in an area that was too busy. Convenient for station but also near restaurants, temples and shrines while being in a quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best host I have ever had. Thank you Sumi for your help with our stay in Kioto! The flat was perfect for us, couple, spacious and equipped, in interesting area. Additional plus for terrace with a view on city. Sumi recommend us some places where we could find local specialities. She also drop us off us to station. Full recommendation!

The house was very cute, clean and a great space for our family. We loved the balcony overlooking the stream; it was a beautiful space to sit and drink coffee/relax. The surrounding area was close to restaurants and shops. It was a little difficult to find at first because taxis cannot drive to the front door and you will have to walk through a small street or along the stream to locate the front door. However, once we found the front door everything went smoothly. We would highly recommended this place to a small family!

We had a great stay at this home. Our group of 6 comfortable stayed amongst the 3 upstairs bedrooms. Like most Japanese homes, the toilets and shower rooms are separate. This home had 2 toilets and 2 showers. The washing machine works great, and the drying functionality (hanging clothes in the bathroom by a drying vent) worked as well. We loved the location, walking distance from the Fushimi Inari shrine and across the street from a 7/11 and walking distance from 3 different train stations. Very easy to get around the area! this was THE BEST air bnb we ever stayed in. she was so thoughtful. not only did she give local recommendations, but also even left bandages, and shower towels, hair caps and all sorts of items just in case we needed them. she was so so kind and so lovely. I would definitely recommend to anyone else. if I'm back in Kyoto I would love to stay here again

Pro - Its a very good place. The kitchen cutlery is complete. The scenery is amazing. Clean and wifi is good. Definitely come again! Cons - bathroom only 1. So takes a lot of time. The view is great but the location is far from town. Need to travel 40mins just to reach town. So waste time there.

We stayed for four nights and it was a great experience. The support team was very clear and responsive before and during our stay. Having a shuttle from Kyoto station was a very big plus! Location was good. Close to bus and metro lines, walkable to many restaurants and a grocery store. The space is not perfect, there are some stains on the furniture and carpet, but overall it was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Beds and bedding were cozy and the heat worked very well. Loved the big bathtub!

We stayed as 3 families, 7 people including children. The interior of the room was more wonderful than it looked in the photos, and the living room, with its high ceilings and spacious living room, was a luxurious and very relaxing space. The whole room was well organized and cleaned, and I was able to use it comfortably. Unfortunately, it was raining this time, but we still had a good time indoors. I'd love to visit in a different season if I get the chance.
