The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Welcome to our cozy family cabin on Gausta! The cabin is from 2022 and is our own little leisure gem that we rent out when we are not using it ourselves. Here you get a modern, space-efficient cabin spread over two floors. Detached cabin with good standard, heating cables in the floor, fireplace and patio. Plan 1: hallway, bathroom with shower and washing machine, kitchen and living room with exit to a small terrace. Level 2: Four small bedrooms, attic room with TV and private toilet. Fiber net (WiFi), 1 fixed parking space + guest parking.

Amazing views of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birdsong as the closest neighbors. The cross-country ski trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine resort. Note: There is a walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in summer/250 meters in winter, it is steep the first bit, so it is NOT suitable if you are bad at walking. Approximately 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.
