Nice cottage overlooking Gaustatoppen built in 2018. The cottage is located in the sunniest area with sun from morning to evening, as long as the weather permits. Patio with barbecue grill in lovely evening sun. The cottage has two floors. On the first floor, there is a kitchen and living room with an open floor plan, two bedrooms and two fully equipped bathrooms. One bathroom is directly adjacent to one bedroom. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms as well as a small living room with a sofa bed and TV. We hope you will enjoy your stay in our cottage.

Idyllic place by Tinnsjøen lake near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Fantastic location with direct access to alpine and cross-country trails. View of Gaustatoppen (1883 m.a.s.l.) and Rjukan valley. Great hiking terrain, several fishing waters nearby, short distance to Gaustabanen to get to Gaustatoppen. Krossobanen is located at the end of Rjukandalen and here Hardangervidda starts with many great bike trails. The cabin is suitable for families who want a mountain trip with cabin comfort. It is rented to adults over 25 years of age who treat the cabin as their own. Parties are not allowed.

Large cozy vertically divided cabin with great location and high standard. The cabin is located right next to the downhill slope and right next to cross-country trails in winter. In summer there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good alternatives in the area. Gaustatoppen is a very popular mountain hike and is located nearby.
