There is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the surrounding area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. The cabin area is located right next to Skinnarbu mountain hotel. The cabin is located on the nicest plot in the cabin area with a lovely view over Hardangervidda. It has direct access to endless hiking opportunities whether it is on foot in the summer or cross-country skiing in the winter. Otherwise, Rauland alpine resort is about a 15-minute drive away.

Enjoy quiet holidays with the whole family right by Tinnsjøen on this peaceful cabin right down on the waterfront. Two cabins are connected with a terrace. One cabin has a dining table, a sofa bed and a simple kitchen. The second cabin is the bedroom with 4 beds. Water must be collected at the sanitary facility at Sjøtveit Camping, where there is also a free shower. In addition, there is a completely renovated bathroom (shared with another cabin) with a biological toilet in the neighboring cabin. No running water. Simple standard.
