Aswathi and her mother were incredibly kind, warm, and responsive throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely outstanding—home-cooked meals that were so delicious, we found ourselves preferring it over any restaurant! Aunty’s cooking was beyond words, and we were spoiled with an array of freshly prepared breakfast, fruits, lunch, snacks, and dinner, every day. The homestay itself was a gem. Surrounded by lush greenery, tranquil atmosphere, the location was perfect. It was the ideal retreat, offering both peace and beauty. Had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The location is very private, away from the maddening crowd and noise, yet very close to needy establishments. The host and caretaker were very warm, friendly and helpful. The airconditioners did their job well and kept us comfortable in the thick of summer. Spacious rooms and functional toilets. Thank you.

Host was responsive, proactive and kind. home was easy to find. checkin went smooth. the home is close the the kalpetta city. surrounded by various trees and plants. quite neighborhood. was kind of the Mr. Ismail to make us coffee once we reach the home. the home has good wifi network , clean home. overall definitely recommend the place. will look forward to get back to Mr. Ismail's home when visiting wayanad again.

Was a pleasant stay, the caretaker Manoj was very helpful and the home cooked Kerala food was delicious. Also has a fully functional kitchen. Has some good sight seeings nearby. For local sight seeing and Wayanad it’s great. For Kabini / nagarhole safari would not recommend as the forest road closes from 6pm-6am, we were not aware and had to reach the place back with 100km detour. Overall it’s a nice peaceful place to spend with family.

We have a wonderful time at this house. Rooms were clean. The shower and taps in the ground floor room were not working properly. Overall it was a beautiful home. A very peaceful location. We enjoyed and felt like home. The young couple greeted us . Very nice home for a group of six persons.🐦‍⬛

Great place with awesome vibe and at early morning the fod makes it soo beautiful to watch the sunrise. we enjoyed with fast wifi and a smart tv. we cooked as well. Overall great place.

It was a great experience to stay in a tree house. It was my first time and I am not gonna get over this beautiful feeling of staying here anytime soon. There is calm river flowing right in front of the tree house. There is a beautiful farm where you can take a stroll and explore the various vegetation the family is taking care of. Mahima helped me set up a beautiful candle light dinner which definitely helped me to have one of the most beautiful experiences so far. Highly recommended. Please go and enjoy the hospitality.

This homestay is located centrally in waynad area . You will enjoy lot of indoor & outdoor activities in Villa itself . Caretaker Akhil will make your trip memorable by staying in constant touch so that you will enjoy holidays hassle free This place is as it's described . This amazing property has beautiful swimming pool to rejuvenate after day's sightseeing . Water is crystal clear. Also peaceful surroundings makes this places great in value. Also food ordered through tie up restaurant was of good quality for both veg & non veg members as we were 12 guests . This is best location for family trip i must say to enjoy .Akhil is a good host & we will definitely come here again .

We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was just perfect — the setting, the view, and especially the pool, which was definitely the highlight for us. Roy, the caretaker, was wonderful and did everything we asked for. Though we had a bit of a language barrier since he speaks only Malayalam, Google Translate came to the rescue and it all worked out smoothly. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa nestled in nature. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and even has a charming little stream flowing through it, which adds to the serene vibe. The villa itself is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the host, Mr. Shine. He was extremely friendly, responsive, and always just a call away for anything we needed. His hospitality really enhanced our overall experience. The villa doesn’t have air conditioning, but thanks to the pleasant weather, it didn’t feel uncomfortable—though it did get a bit warm during the afternoons (we visited in May). Also, there’s a CCTV camera installed at the outer boundary facing the swimming pool, which slightly impacts the privacy for couples and could be reconsidered. The location is excellent with adventure parks, viewpoints, and tea gardens all nearby. The view from the property includes a stunning mountain backdrop.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience! The view was breathtaking — waking up to such natural beauty every day was a dream come true. It’s a bit of a challenge to reach the hotel because of the steep road, but trust me — it’s totally worth the effort once you get there. Memorable Stay at Cinnamon Villa, Wayanad – Made Special by Incredible Hosts Our 3-day stay at Cinnamon Villa in Wayanad was truly unforgettable—mainly because of the incredible hospitality of the hosts. Due to heavy rains, there was no electricity throughout our stay, which could have dampened the experience. But the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. On the first night, they invited all 8 of us into their own home and treated us with genuine warmth. Their mother cooked delicious homemade dinner and breakfast that we all thoroughly enjoyed. When the cook we had arranged didn’t turn up, the owners themselves stepped in and prepared some amazing local cuisine for us for the rest of the stay. While it would have been helpful to have an on-site caretaker or housekeeper, the hosts’ personal involvement more than made up for it. They stayed close by, took us for a lovely drive through their plantation, let us pluck fruits from their trees, and even gifted

The place is absolutely beautiful. There are so many elements in the property like multiple seating areas, ponds, barbecue place, that add to the experience. We stayed here with our 4 doggos and they had a lot of space to run and play around in the property. They had the best time! The help and her daughter who maintain the property are very sweet and ensured the rooms and kitchen were clean and they really did a great job. Regional breakfast like idli, appam and all was provided and it was good. They only speak Malyalam but we could still manage to understand some bits :D. The host is very proactive and responsive. Great place, very serene and secluded. Lots of thing to do at the airbnb it self and also in close proximity. Both the caretaker and the chef were amazing people and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely going to visit again!

The place is by the side of the beach, with absolutely stunning views. It's a nice place for a small get together. The place itself requires a bit of maintenance. Being a beachfront villa, wear and rear is visible on all aspects, including wall, electrical fittings. But overall the stay was good and the caretaker was really helpful

During our stay in the first week of January 2025, everything was exactly as described. The host and his assistant, Vijay, were both wonderful and welcoming. The property is located 1.6 kilometers from the main road and is close to the well-known milk producer in the area. The rooms were clean, neat, and equipped with all the essentials, including toothpaste and soap. Every morning, Vijay prepared a delicious breakfast, and his friendly, humble, and helpful nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Throughout our stay, we felt well cared for, and they were attentive to our needs. Their restaurant recommendations were also spot on! We did experience a couple of minor issues with hot water and drainage in Room #2, but these were addressed promptly. I’m confident that these concerns will be permanently resolved for future guests. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend this place. One friendly advice to host: Send message to host with the landmark.

We were a family of 8 looking for a weekend getaway, and the moment we saw the listing for this place, we were all instantly convinced. The biggest reason — it was a Tharavad. All our ancestral Tharavads had either been demolished or sold by the previous generations, so the idea of staying in one again truly excited us. When we reached, we realized the property was even more beautiful than what we saw in the pictures. If you’re looking for luxury, fancy amenities, or the facilities of a resort or hotel — this may not be for you. But if you’re after an experience — a private, quiet, clean, and nostalgic stay that reminds you of old Kerala homes, this is perfect. We had an amazing time here and would definitely love to come back. If there’s one small suggestion I could make — I wish there were more traditional Kerala dishes available, like beef fry, appam, etc. But that wasn't a dealbreaker, as there were restaurants nearby where we could pick up what we wanted.
