Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kissamos

We had a lovely time, the place is wonderful and as described. We felt very comfortable. It has a private garden and a terrace with a view for private use. Both were very great. Overall, a great place to stay, we lacked nothing. Communication with Michalis also worked out great. We tried the tips, we were in the tavern near the accommodation several times. We would come back anytime.

This apartment is a real gem, elegant, tidy and tastefully furnished. Small kitchen and bathroom with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is also a small terrace that is still livable. Upon our arrival, Marios had us find 2 croissants for breakfast made by his mother, very good and very welcome! As a host, he was very responsive and gave us a lot of tips on restaurants and places to visit. Overall a very positive experience!

Very pleasant stay at Irene's. House in a very good location amid olive trees and close to many places. Irene is a very welcoming, kind, caring person... we were treated to small specialties when we arrived and when we returned in the evening... i highly recommend. Thank you Irene

The view was worth the price alone Cracking little apartment, with parking and in easy walking distance to the village. Well appointed and very comfortable for our family of 4. Nestled in a stunning mountain range, the apartment is really handy for a 15 minutes drive to Elafonisi Beach and pretty close to Chania. We loved it ❤️

Alexandros’s listing was a dream location to stay in. We have been staying across Europe for the last few weeks to celebrate our honeymoon and this place stood out as a favorite for us! He and his wife, Konstantina, were very helpful and made us feel welcome. They went above and beyond sharing homemade goods and giving us great recommendations for the local area. We would absolutely recommend their property to anyone!

This is a family home. You can feel the memories and laughter from the years. It is adorable and cozy and Laura is so kind. I loved the hammock out front. A full kitchen available. Walkable to restaurants and the water.

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is spotless and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how to solve this. We had a lovely stay, I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay at Leuteris' place. His mother Efi welcomed us warmly and gave us great tips on excursion destinations and restaurants! The highlight of our apartment was definitely the huge west-facing balcony. In addition to two tables with chairs, there is a small chill area and a hammock where you can enjoy the sunset atmosphere. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, the nearest supermarket and the small village of Kissamos within a few minutes. For excursion destinations along the west coast, whether in the north or south, we were well located. You can borrow umbrellas, air mattresses, coolers and more for free if needed. All in all, an all-round pleasant and great stay. We will be happy to come back and thank Efi and Leuteris for everything🧡

We stayed there from June 1 to 7. Apartment faithful to the photos (a little plus with the two terraces (one partly shaded) which allows us to be in the sun or shade at any time of day), private parking and access to the beach on foot (15 meters). Close to the city center on foot (shops, restaurants, bars, pedestrian center, etc.) and well located for visiting western Crete. The host who welcomed us was very nice (took the time to advise us on the area and its visits), available and responsive (we asked for an extra set of sheets that were in front of our door during the day) thank you for the welcome and I recommend this apartment

In all my years of traveling all over the world, I’ve never met a better host than Elena. She was absolutely the best! The apartment was beautiful and the view incredible. Elena gifted us delicious local treats and their own olive oil, raki and wine. We felt so at home and taken care of. I would definitely return and stay here again. The only thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms doesn’t have a window but it’s great for anyone who likes to sleep in the dark. We had an amazing time staying here as a family.

When we arrived my partner said what have you booked. HOWEVER from that point on the accommodation was superb, hoist views amenities out of this world. We found a bar Naya bar ^ restaurant which is a 3 minute walk right of the apartment. The food and hospitality was 100%.We did eat else where but it didn't compare. Food and drinks was reasonably priced and out of this world. This location for this apartment is spot on for the town of Kissimos. (20 mins walk tops) On our trip we did the top main beaches which are apartment is sentral. If you want to be off the grid or a quiet location for your family this is the place. Our hoist accommodated to our every needs like taking sun loungers on the beach. I will definitely recommend these apartments. I had the top terrace wow waking up to sea front views was unbelievable. To sum these apartments is a hidden gem.Cleaned every couple of days.Happy memories from the UK 🇬🇧 thank you x

Great little pad at Elafonisi, and pretty much the closest you can be to the beach - which is about 7 minutes walk from all the accommodation and town. Lovely and peaceful – even though it was central it was tucked away and felt remote. Could have been stocked a bit better - only enough for 1 1/2 coffees, no tea. Great fridge/freezer but no glasses or plates - though they delivered some when I asked. As it's a great spot to relax after your beach time. Would recommend.

We didn't meet Vasilis, but his mom Efi welcomed us with extreme kindness and made us feel immediately at home, almost part of a family that was expecting us. Really super nice, she left valuable tips and suggestions on how to get around the area and what to visit. The accommodation is exactly as described, comfortable and livable spaces like a real apartment unlike many other solutions designed only as a "holiday home". Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!!!!! THANK YOU EFI!!!❤️

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

Perfect place to visit Crete. Restaurants and supermarkets in feet distance. Easy to go to Balos, Elafonisi and Chania by car. Very comfortable fully equipped apartment. Terrace is really big and amazing. Hosts are very friendly. We came at night and Alisia's mom cooked for us hot fresh greek meal. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

The place was very clean, which is of most importance to me. The host sent clear instructions ahead of time making it very easy to access the studio. The place was slightly smaller than I expected, but that was not a big issue since it was only for my husband and me. I would definitely recommend the place.

Our stay in Chania was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Ioanna was very accessible and friendly.
